Shaan knows what it feels like to struggle in a subject and have a teacher meet her there. Eight years on as a teacher herself, she still measures every lesson by one thing: whether students left loving the subject more than when they walked in.

This National Day, our students explored these real-world connections across English, Maths and Science lessons:
