Super proud of our adult learners from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Specialist Diploma in Community Optometry! Their Service-Learning cm Design Thinking project in partnership with Essilor Vision Foundation ASEAN has come to fruition! The project looked into how to configure vending machines to enable migrant workers to self-test for presbyopia then access the right pair of reading glasses stocked in the machines. The first machine was launched at Migrant Workers Recreational Centre yesterday. In engaging with migrant workers, our adult learners developed a deeper understanding of how they might better serve this community.
