PSLE READING BOOKLET（HARD COPY）

PSLE reading booklet contains 25 passages, each of which includes important vocabulary from every lesson of the P5 and P6 textbooks. This not only helps children review the textbook vocabulary through the passages but also enables them to practice reading aloud. Each passage is accompanied by an assessment form, which can be used by parents to assist their children in reviewing and providing feedback. The vocabulary list indicates the grade level of words in the passages, which helps children identify unfamiliar words at their grade level.

With about ten days left till the PSLE oral examination, apart from revising the materials that you already have, you may consider doing the following two things:
1. Familiarise yourself with the themes in the textbooks by reading aloud the text from the P4 to P6 textbooks.
2. For each theme (健康、邻里关系、安全意识、互相帮助、节约资源、保护环境、公德心), come up with your opinions and substantiate them with your personal experiences

The themes in the textbooks are really important, and you will be able to pick up common phrases used for each theme. Here are some of the themes that have been tested in previous years and the corresponding textbook lessons have been listed:
