As I sit here and pack your orders, sometimes I do get angry at the madrasah system.

I remember what I had to go through with my kids. The late nights, the anxiety, the must-marah-anak-i-sebab-he-forgot-his-hafalan.

"Why must my 6 year old child go through all this to get into your school. They're only 6 year olds you know! And we have to start drilling them even before that, maybe from 5 years old. Or some parents whom I know of, even earlier! 3 years old, 4 years old dah start!"

The pressure is really real.

Especially on us mommies.

But when I see my own kids now who are in P2 and P5 respectively in one of the sg madrasahs, I tell myself, it was all worth it.

Many at times, mommies dm us telling us how helpless they feel.

"Sis, I'm really worried. The entrance test is so near and yet yesterday, bila I go through with my son his doa's, doa masuk tandas pon dia boleh tak sure ni sis. Macam mana sis..I macam nak break down. Padahal dia tahu tau sis sebelum ni i test dia"

It's ok sis.

First, breathe.

Take a deep breath in, bersyukur, breathe out.

A few more deep breathes, calm yourself down, and make doa.

Doa that Allah makes it easy for you.

Doa that Allah makes it easy for your child.

Doa that he gets his doa's and surah's all in his head by the 21st of May.

Doa that he doesn't commit any careless mistakes.

Doa that he reads, understands, and follows the instructions accordingly.
