We are deeply grateful to for inviting us to Jeju Island to facilitate its Forest School sessions.
What resonated most was witnessing how space was intentionally held for children. It reminded us of the nurturing environment our coaches create back home. Itโs always comforting to be in the company of like-minded practitioners.
We look forward to returning to Korea again in the future.

Before children can sit still to learn, their bodies are already gathering information through climbing, balancing, carrying, jumping, observing and exploring space.
What may look like โjust playโ is actually the nervous system laying foundations for learning. In Term 3, we return to the forest - where the body leads.
๐ฟ To honour the journey of learning and connection within the group, learners are required to attend a ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐บ๐๐บ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ณ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ per term for a Forest School experience.
๐ฟ Trial sessions are available only within the first half of the term.
We welcome both new and returning families to join us in this important journey. Head over to our bio to register!

We had the pleasure of having children of ages 4yo to 12yo from HSCA SPIN (Highpoint Community Services Association: Single Parents INformed INvolved INcluded) in the forest with us.
Their gentle and curious ways of playing in the forest reiterated that children can befriend the forest when adults trust them. We are looking forward to seeing these children and more of their friends again soon!

Playing in parks, forests and void decks allow children to build a sense of belonging and appreciation for their home. As the Malay saying goes, โtak kenal maka tak cintaโ i.e. if we donโt get to know something, we donโt come to love it.
Play is in our DNA.

Why does learning have to look like worksheets, instructions and outcomes? For children, there is no difference between play and learning.
Play ๐ช๐ด the very foundation of learning, shaping how they think, move and connect with the world. It is in play that children discover the self.
โThe hands are the instrument of the mind.โ - Maria Montessori
If this resonates with you, join us via link in bio. We welcome all children into the forest!๐ป

Every Forest School session is like a story that comes to life.
Each child brings their own ideas, questions and discoveries, a recipe for creativity and excitement.
During our drop-off sessions, our coaches notice and capture all the learning that happens, even the small things you might not see right away.
We share these in our โLetters From The Forest.โ If youโve read them, we hope they have been a joy to receive. ๐
