✨ Celebrating 100 Years of Giving Back ✨

Our school celebrates not only our rich heritage but also the meaningful connections that shape our community.

One of these special connections is with Maitri School, which is currently located at the former Eunos Primary School campus. Maitri School provides specialised education for students aged 7 to 18 with moderate to severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), nurturing communication, independence, social skills and lifelong learning.

As part of our curriculum to promote inclusivity, our student leaders had the opportunity to participate in the adapted PE lessons at Maitri School.

❤️ Through shared activities, they experienced firsthand the importance of empathy, patience, encouragement and recognising the strengths in every individual. They discovered that true leadership is not about leading from the front, it is about ensuring that everyone feels seen, supported and included.

Inspired by this experience, we invite our TKPS community to join us in making a meaningful difference. We are raising funds to enrich the learning experiences of Maitri School students. Maitri School is a Special Education school established by Metta Welfare Association (MWA), a registered charity and the school’s parent organisation in November 2019. As such, the Giving.sg campaign is hosted under MWA, with all donations directed towards supporting Maitri School and its students.

No amount is too small. Every donation, regardless of the amount, brings us a step closer to creating more meaningful learning opportunities.

Our teams have put their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test in STEM Challenge 2! 💡🔬

Tasked with designing and constructing a water wheel that can spin continuously for at least 5 seconds, our students put their ideas to the test through ideating, planning, constructing, testing and refining their designs.

Harmony is not something we inherit, it's something we build together every day. ❤️

Our Racial Harmony Day celebrations brought this message to life. Through a thoughtfully crafted skit, students reflected on how mutual respect, understanding and empathy sustain the harmony Singapore enjoys today. A vibrant costume showcase then celebrated the rich diversity of our multicultural society, while interactive booths gave students hands-on opportunities to explore the cultures, traditions and customs that make Singapore uniquely our own.

As we celebrate what makes us different, we honour the values that unite us. Together, we nurture caring citizens who embrace diversity and play their part in building an inclusive and harmonious Singapore.

Our Primary 5 and 6 students participated in the NDP26 National Education Talk where they gained a deeper appreciation of Singapore's journey, the importance of defence and resilience and how every individual can contribute to our nation's future.

For our students, the message hit even closer to home. The SAF speaker, COL Joshua Gopal Sundram, is a proud TKPS alumnus. From his days as a TKPS student to serving Singapore with distinction, his journey is a powerful reminder that every TKPS student has the potential to grow into a leader who makes a difference. Through his personal experiences and reflections, he encouraged our students to dream boldly, embrace challenges and Go Beyond in shaping Singapore's future. 🇸🇬

The celebration was made even more memorable with a special appearance by mascot August, who brought smiles and festive cheer as our school came together to celebrate Singapore's 61st birthday. 🎉❤️🤍

At TKPS, we continue to nurture students with a strong sense of belonging, responsibility and hope as they grow into confident leaders, resilient learners and caring citizens.

Leadership is not about titles or badges — it is about serving others, leading with integrity and making a positive difference in our school community.

As our student leaders embark on their leadership journey, we look forward to seeing them inspire, empower and lead with courage. Here’s to a year of growth, service and meaningful impact! 🫡

💙 Every leadership journey is shaped by opportunities to learn, serve and grow.

Our P5 Student Leaders recently took part in the **Lead with Heart: Growing Together** programme, supporting the Sports Day at AWWA School @ Bedok alongside their peers.

As they facilitated activities, cheered on participants and interacted with the students, they strengthened their communication skills, demonstrated teamwork and cultivated empathy and inclusivity. These authentic experiences allowed our young leaders to put their leadership into action while building confidence, connecting with others and learning the value of serving with compassion and purpose.

Together, we aspire to make a positive difference in the community. ❤️

🌏 Beyond Borders Immersion Programme 2026 to Sarawak (Malaysia),7–10 July 2026

Our Primary 5 students recently returned from the Beyond Borders Immersion Programme in Sarawak. The journey was filled with meaningful learning experiences, cultural exchanges and opportunities for our students to step beyond their comfort zones.

From visiting local schools and exploring Sarawak’s rich cultural and natural heritage, to engaging in hands-on learning and building friendships across borders, every activity offered our students opportunities to explore diverse perspectives while growing in confidence and independence.

The experience strengthened our students in global awareness and reflects our commitment to nurturing 21st Century Competencies.

If not, here's some good news — the exhibition has been extended until 29 July, giving you more time to experience our students' creative works inspired by the theme Anchored in Roots, Charting our Routes. 🌱

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has visited the exhibition and taken the time to appreciate our students' artworks. We were also honoured to welcome Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, and extend our heartfelt thanks to him, as well as to every visitor who has supported and celebrated our students' creativity. 💙

Each artwork offers a unique glimpse into our students' reflections on heritage, identity and hopes for the future, showcasing the creativity, imagination and stories that have shaped our TKPS100 celebrations.

There's still time to visit and celebrate this special milestone with us!

💙 Caring Leaders in Action!

Our Serve to Lead Programme empowers our young leaders to put their values and learning into action.

Working alongside their peers from other schools, our P4 Student Leaders recently spent a meaningful afternoon with the seniors from the Active Aging Centres through games, food-sharing and pennant-making. Through these joyful interactions, students practised empathy, communication skills and showed care for others while building meaningful connections and creating lasting memories together. 🌟

By serving others and engaging with the community, our student leaders continue to grow as caring individuals who lead with compassion.
