Our lab is now embarking on a new study and we would like your participation! This study looks at criticism in family relationships.
SANLab would like to extend an invite to all couples, parents and their children to take part in this study. All the participants need to do is take part in a 1h30m session where they would complete a series of questionnaires online. There will be a token of appreciation of $10 for each couple/family for their time and contribution!

We are looking for the following groups of participants:
📍 Group 1: Couples in a romantic relationship
📍 Group 2: Married couples with no children
Both partners (aged 21-55 years old) will need to complete a questionnaire.

📍 Group 3: Married couples with children (at least one child aged 8 and above)
Both partners and one child aged 8 years old and above will need to complete a questionnaire.
📍 Group 3A: Married couples and one child aged 8-12 years taking part in the study
📍 Group 3B: Married couples and one child aged 13-17 years taking part in the study

We just started a new project, called "Effects of the presence of human faces on ATM's trustworthiness", in which we are investigating the relationship between aesthetics and trustworthiness ratings given to a set of ATMs on which human faces, of different gender, ethnicity, and age, have been placed. To participate in this study, you must be at least 21 years old (or legal age in your country of residence). Participation is volunteer and you can withdraw at any moment would you fill uncomfortable. This experiment takes, on average, 20 to 30 minutes to be completed.

The study has been approved by the IRB of the Nanyang Technological University (IRB-2020-05-015), and information will be recorded anonymously. Moreover, the final dataset (containing participants' ratings per picture) will be released in the data repository of the Nanyang Technological University, so that it can be used in future studies by our and other research teams.
