Tongue twisters are an enjoyable and effective way to improve Malayalam language skills. They help children and learners practice correct pronunciation, improve clarity of speech, and increase fluency. Repeating tongue twisters strengthens the muscles used in speaking and helps distinguish similar Malayalam sounds. They also make language learning fun, engaging, and interactive while building confidence in speaking Malayalam.

Tongue Twisters മലയാളഭാഷ പഠിക്കുന്നതിനും സംസാരശേഷി മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും വളരെ ഉപകാരപ്രദമാണ്. ഇവ ശരിയായ ഉച്ചാരണം അഭ്യസിക്കാനും സംസാരത്തിലെ വ്യക്തതയും ഒഴുക്കും വർധിപ്പിക്കാനും സഹായിക്കുന്നു. സമാന ശബ്ദങ്ങളുള്ള അക്ഷരങ്ങൾ വേർതിരിച്ച് പറയാനുള്ള കഴിവ് വളർത്തുകയും സംസാര ആത്മവിശ്വാസം കൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. കൂടാതെ, ഭാഷാപഠനം രസകരവും ആകർഷകവുമാക്കുന്ന ഒരു മികച്ച മാർഗവുമാണ്.

Some simple words in Malayalam carry very deep emotions within them. Words like “Amma” (mother), “love,” “rain,” and “home” create a special feeling in our hearts the moment we hear them. These words do not just convey meanings; they also bring memories, relationships, and emotions along with them. That is why the Malayalam language is known as a beautiful language that touches the heart.

മലയാളത്തിലെ ചില ലളിതമായ വാക്കുകൾക്ക് വളരെ ആഴമുള്ള വികാരങ്ങൾ ഒളിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. “അമ്മ”, “സ്നേഹം”, "മഴ" , “വീട്” പോലുള്ള വാക്കുകൾ കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ മനസിൽ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക അനുഭവം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു. ഈ വാക്കുകൾ വെറും അർത്ഥം മാത്രമല്ല, ബന്ധങ്ങളും ഓർമ്മകളും വികാരങ്ങളും കൂടി നമ്മിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് മലയാളഭാഷ ഹൃദയത്തെ സ്പർശിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മനോഹരമായ ഭാഷയായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.

As part of the their project, students from National University of Singapore approached MLES to create reels with the teachers about the importance of Malayalam.

Malayalam is more than just a language — it carries our culture, traditions, stories, and emotions across generations.

Encouraging children to speak and learn Malayalam helps them stay connected to their roots and communicate with family members more meaningfully.
Learning one’s mother tongue also improves confidence, creativity, and a sense of identity among children. By preserving Malayalam, we are preserving a beautiful part of our heritage for future generations.

It was a really fun and memorable experience filming the reels with NUS students !!!

പ്രോജക്റ്റിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി, National University of Singapore-ലെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ മലയാളത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അധ്യാപകരോടൊപ്പം റീലുകൾ തയ്യാറാക്കുന്നതിനായി MLES നെ സമീപിച്ചു.

മലയാളം ഒരു ഭാഷ മാത്രമല്ല — അത് നമ്മുടെ സംസ്കാരവും പാരമ്പര്യവും കഥകളും വികാരങ്ങളും തലമുറകളിലൂടെ കൈമാറുന്ന ഒരു അമൂല്യ പൈതൃകമാണ്.

കുട്ടികൾ മലയാളം സംസാരിക്കാനും പഠിക്കാനും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് അവരെ അവരുടെ വേരുകളുമായി കൂടുതൽ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയും കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളുമായി കൂടുതൽ ആത്മാർത്ഥമായി ആശയവിനിമയം നടത്താനും സഹായിക്കുന്നു. മാതൃഭാഷ പഠിക്കുന്നത് കുട്ടികളിൽ ആത്മവിശ്വാസവും സൃഷ്ടിപരമായ ചിന്തയും വ്യക്തിത്വബോധവും വളർത്തുന്നു.

മലയാളത്തെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് നമ്മുടെ സമ്പന്നമായ പൈതൃകത്തെ ഭാവി തലമുറകൾക്കായി നിലനിർത്തുന്നതാണ്. അവരോടൊപ്പം റീലുകൾ ചിത്രീകരിച്ചത് വളരെ രസകരവും മനോഹരമായൊരു അനുഭവവുമായിരുന്നു.
