🇨🇦 Altairika’s map is growing
Canada has joined our VR journey! Now the Virtual Encyclopaedia is inspiring children in 13 countries around the world 💜
Each new destination means even more children will get the chance to see outer space, dive into the ocean, explore the human body, and discover science in a format that excites and leaves a lasting impression!
We continue to expand our horizons and share our content across the globe — with many more flags still to appear on the map 🌍

We often hear the same question from kids (and adults 😉): “But how does it actually work?”
So we decided to explain it in simple terms 👇🏻
🖼️ Two pictures instead of one
Inside VR glasses are two tiny screens — one for each eye. They show the same scene, but from slightly different angles (just like we see in real life).
🕶️ Lenses that change everything
The lenses “bend” the image and create a sense of depth.
🌟 Motion sensors
VR glasses “track” where you look or how you move your head, and instantly adjust the image. Turn your head — and you’re in a different part of the scene.
🔉 Surround sound
The picture is enhanced with 360° audio. If a bird is chirping on your left in the film — that’s exactly where you’ll hear it.
✨ Full immersion effect
When vision, hearing, and movement work together, the brain forgets it’s just an image — and you feel like you’re really there, even though you’re sitting in a hall or classroom.
💜 You can experience this immersion and see a VR film for yourself at an Altairika Virtual Encyclopaedia screening.

💜 We often talk about inspiration. But what does it really mean to us?
At Altairika, inspiration is:
✨ When a child walks out of a VR session with eyes full of wonder.
✨ When they’re in a great mood all day, ready to create, explore, and imagine.
✨ When they suddenly want to know how the world works — how trees grow, why we need a compass, or what’s inside a cell.
✨ When they start asking questions, drawing, debating, inventing stories, and wanting to learn more.
You can’t plan or force inspiration —
✨ but you can spark it.
That’s what we do at Altairika, every single day.

🎈Ahead of International Children’s Day, Altairika took part in “Children’s Health Day” at the city clinic in Trekhgorny.
We hosted VR screenings for children and parents!
That day, the clinic was transformed into a true celebration — with workshops, entertainers, doctor consultations, face painting, and even a bubble show filling the space with joy.
📌 A perfect opportunity to remind kids of some important health tips:
👏🏻 Bacteria and viruses are invisible — but spread easily through hands. Washing with soap is a simple and effective way to protect yourself.
💤 Good sleep helps the brain learn, remember, and manage stress.
🧘🏼♀️ Movement, clean water, and regular meals are key to feeling good and keeping your immune system strong.
Big thanks to Mikhail Krugov for the photos! 📸

🧠 Sleep, fatigue, and focus: why it matters for your child’s learning
It might seem like learning starts with textbooks ❌
✅ In reality, it all begins with what time your child went to bed, how they feel in the morning, and how tired they are by lesson three.
We’ve just published a detailed and super practical article on our website about how sleep affects academic performance, why kids run out of focus so quickly, and when it’s actually best to do homework.
⚡️ One fact that really stood out to us:
😴 Just 20–30 minutes of lost sleep can reduce a child’s ability to focus and remember things for the entire school day.

🌍 Future jobs that are already emerging
According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, the next 5–10 years will bring especially high demand for roles in data, AI, and automation — such as big data specialists, FinTech engineers, machine learning developers, and data analysts.
But that’s just the beginning 👇🏻
🧬 Genetic counselors — helping people understand health risks based on their DNA
🫁 Bioengineers — developing artificial organs and tissues
🩻 Medical IT specialists — building digital solutions for modern healthcare
💥 The earlier a child learns about these future opportunities, the easier it will be to find a path that truly inspires them.

🤫 If there’s a classroom full of excited voices echoing through the school hall — and the teacher isn’t rushing in to quiet them down…
It’s probably an Altairika session! 💜
Here’s how one of our VR lessons works:
👋🏻 Intro by the Altairika facilitator
Before we begin, students learn how to use the VR headsets and what adventure awaits them today.
🎬 Film screening
From the structure of a cell to a journey through the Solar System — we’ve got it all. The film is chosen together with the teacher to match the lesson’s topic.
👀 Eye exercises
A short active break to relax, recharge, and move a little.
🧠 Quiz time
We wrap up with quick tasks or a discussion to reinforce what students just experienced.
✨ We’ll be happy to help you find the perfect session for your school!

Physics, biology, astronomy—these are the subjects that often feel intimidating for kids 🤓
Too complicated. Too confusing.
💜 But VR changes that!
When a child sees physics in action or explores the inside of a cell, those tricky topics suddenly feel clear and approachable.
📍Visuals make it easier to understand, and emotions help take the fear away.
That’s how physics turns into an exciting story about how our world works.

We get it — asking questions in class can feel scary sometimes ✏️
The info piles up, it gets more complicated, and before you know it, you're lost and don’t even know where to start.
💫 That’s where Altairika comes in!
Our VR films break down tricky topics and show them in a way that just makes sense.
⛰️ What climate zones are there on our planet? You won’t just hear about them—you’ll see them!
🌌 Who lives in the oceans and seas? Let’s dive underwater and meet every creature up close!
When knowledge clicks into place like a puzzle, curiosity sparks. Kids start asking questions, exploring, and learning becomes something they actually enjoy.

🪐 Trying something new for the first time feels a bit like landing on another planet.
Bright, unexpected, a little nerve-wracking — and so exciting!
We decided to look back at our very first emotions after watching a VR film.
💫 No doubt about it — we were just like that little fluffy explorer on an unknown planet.
Do you remember what you felt the first time?

We often talk about the excitement kids feel during our VR sessions — but schools love us for more than just that. Behind the bright emotions are real lessons that stick with children for a long time 💫
So how does it work?
When a child doesn’t just hear about a cell but sees it “breathe,” or watches lava burst from a volcano — knowledge turns into experience.
📚 VR makes complex topics clear and visual: what once felt abstract becomes almost tangible.
That’s the power of immersion — kids don’t just memorize, they truly understand!
