Our students had the opportunity to learn from distinguished guests during our Leaders of Integrity Speaker Series, where the term’s leadership practices were brought to life through meaningful sharing and reflection.

Through the panel discussion, students gained deeper insights into what it means to lead with integrity, courage, purpose, and care in different aspects of life and leadership.

We were also honoured to welcome our very own ex-Outramian, Ms Ismath, who shared her personal leadership journey and experiences with our students. Her story served as an inspiration for our students to continue growing as confident and values-driven leaders.

Our students had a meaningful and enjoyable time at the Sports Elective Programme as they explored different sports through fun and engaging hands-on sessions.

Through the programme, students picked up new skills and learnt the importance of teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship while staying active and having fun together.

Our Sec 1 students recently explored the ECG On The Move travelling exhibit, where they engaged in interactive activities to discover more about their interests, strengths, values, and future aspirations.

Through the 9 Purpose Statements, students reflected on how they can contribute meaningfully to their communities and future careers while learning about the diverse education and career pathways available to them.

The experience encouraged students to develop a growth mindset, adaptability, and resilience as they begin their journey of self-discovery and future planning.

We were delighted to welcome our Primary 6 students from various primary schools for an exciting afternoon at Outram Secondary School!

Through engaging hands-on activities in Science, Design & Technology, and Food & Consumer Education, students had the opportunity to experience learning at Outram in a fun and meaningful way. They also enjoyed our vibrant CCA showcase and learned more about the different DSA talent areas offered at Outram Secondary School.

We are especially proud of our Secondary 1 Student Leaders who took on the role of Student Ambassadors, confidently bringing our guests around the school and sharing their Outram experiences with enthusiasm and pride. Their energy, care, and leadership truly reflected the OutramSPIRIT! 👏

Growing Stewards for a Sustainable Future 🌱

From values to action, our students are stepping forward to care for what matters.

On 8 May, our Lower Secondary students and parents planted five trees at our Anchorvale Crescent campus as part of our 12 Trees for 12 Decades initiative — a meaningful project commemorating Outram Secondary School’s 120-year legacy.
This initiative also supports Singapore’s OneMillionTrees Movement under the Singapore Green Plan 2030, empowering students to contribute towards a City in Nature while nurturing environmental stewardship and civic responsibility.

🌳 12 Trees for 12 Decades
✔️ 6 trees planted by our Upper Secondary students and staff
✔️ 5 trees planted by our Lower Secondary students and parents
🌟 The final commemorative tree will be planted by our Guest of Honour during our Official Opening & 120th Anniversary Celebration

As part of our 120th Anniversary Speech Day celebrations, our students came together for a meaningful morning activity - Be the Light.

Through handwritten hopes, dreams, and aspirations for the future of our school, every Outramian became part of a shared story of legacy, gratitude, and hope.

From words of encouragement to visions for the future, each light bulb carried a reminder that every voice matters in shaping the next chapter of Outram.
