Wrapping up with reading the first 3 book of orange readers ( a set of 21 books )
Orange readers are like level 0 of reading
The first 3 books only cover group 1 ( s , a , t , I, p ,n ) sounds and is a good feedback mechanism for a kid to understand why are they really messing to read these sounds or ketters
The objective is to be able to read n write
It certainly boosts their morale n confidence to be able to read almost real books thsn the convention

Fermented samai urundai or Fermented little millet balls seasoned with peanuts and lentils and Indian spices
My 4 yo doesn't like the taste of millet but when tempered and rolled like a sushi she loves it and its like finger food which she fondly calls veggie sushi
The millet is cooked and I keep it overnight for natural fermenting to happen and then season it
Layer it with veggies and ideas are endless
Inspired by Asian cuisine in Singapore where sticky rice balls are combined with veggies and meat

White bean stew with toasted bread and a lentil spiced sprinkle ( made with roasted lentils and spices and coarsely ground )
I see a lot of seed sprinkles for adding protein into kids food , why not use the same concept for cresting the age old lentil sprinkle
In South India its known as menthi podi and chutney podi , I have made a modified version witn less spice and salt
Awesome for kids
