Discover how the children at MK@Sengkang Green explored sustainability through interactive learning experiences!

Our K2 children explored food sustainability at Ecoponics, while our K1 children learned about climate action, conservation and more at the Sustainable Singapore Gallery!

Through these hands-on experiences, we inspire our young learners to make greener everyday choices for our planet. 💚

Executive functioning skills are an important set of skills that helps children stay focused, follow instructions, and complete tasks with confidence. The good news? It can be developed through simple, everyday moments.

From playing games like Simon Says and I Spy to encouraging your child to complete one task at a time, these activities help build focus, self-regulation, and confidence in learning.

💬 What activities help your child stay focused? Share your ideas in the comments!

Should my little one be sitting down to do more ‘real learning’? Playing so much won’t help them learn to focus, right?

We would like to share that two of our MOE Kindergarten educators were recognised at the Mother Tongue Languages Symposium for the Outstanding Preschool Mother Tongue Language Teacher Award.

Congratulations to Ms Qi Xiaojing from MK@Valour and Ms Xu Ran from MK@Fern Green!

For our children, language comes alive through songs, stories, games, and everyday conversations with their teachers and friends.

As they understand, enjoy, and speak, a love for language begins to bloom.

Let’s hear from our educators as they share how they nurture confident speakers and help them discover the joy of Mother Tongue!

Once upon a Green Time...

Our children at MK@Sengkang Green learned to care for the Earth through storytelling, creativity, and dress-up fun!

From listening to eco-tales with our Parent Support Group volunteers to creating their own Eco Storybook, our children learnt how everyday actions can care for our planet!

Together with their families, they discovered creative ways to reuse & repurpose items, proving that every little action makes a difference!

Catch Part 2 next week, where we follow the children beyond the classroom on their green learning journey~

Raising a respectful child in diverse Singapore starts with one simple thing: modelling.

Children learn respect by watching how we treat the people around us. Long before they understand the word itself, they notice how we interact with our neighbours, hawkers, and estate cleaners.

This National Day season, let's show them how it's done!

✨Greet people with a smile or a simple "Have you had your lunch?"✨
Expand their world by visiting neighbourhood playgrounds, libraries, or volunteering together to meet people from all walks of life.

These everyday moments help children appreciate and respect people from all walks of life
Who is a familiar face in your neighbourhood that always makes you smile? Shout them out in the comments!

Pulp with Purpose

Shred. Soak. Blend. Press!

Our children at MK@Wellington gave waste a second chance, turning recycled paper into handmade sheets.

The handmade paper will be used to craft heartfelt Thank You notes for their teachers this Teacher's Day!
