🌿 New Connections, New Possibilities

We recently had the pleasure of meeting Angie Png, Founder of The 7th Bridge, for a really meaningful conversation about learning, nature, wellness, and the possibilities of working together.

Angie is an experienced speaker, facilitator, animal communicator, Reiki Master Teacher, and holistic wellness practitioner. Through The 7th Bridge, she conducts workshops and experiential learning programmes centred around awareness, connection, personal growth, and our relationships with animals and the world around us.

There’s a lot of natural overlap between what we both do. At APCI, our work has always been education-first, using aquascaping, terrariums, paludariums, and nature-based experiences to help people learn through doing. The 7th Bridge similarly places a strong emphasis on workshops, facilitation, and experiential learning.

We’re now exploring some exciting ideas for collaborative courses and programmes in the near future, bringing together our different areas of expertise in new and interesting ways.

Little Worlds, Big Discoveries: APCI x WFA Family Workshop Day 🌿

One day, three living worlds to build.

Aquaplant Culture International is teaming up with Wong Fong Academy for a full day of hands-on nature workshops at People’s Park Complex on Saturday, 29 August 2026.

🐛 Kids Isopod Workshop -- 11am
Ages 5+
Children will set up their own isopod habitat and bring it home to continue observing and caring for their tiny ecosystem.
✨ 1 parent attends free.

🌱 Drip Jar Terrarium Workshop -- 2pm
Ages 8+
Build your own living terrarium in a jar, with all materials included plus a free isopod starter culture.
✨ 1 parent attends free for children under 12.

🐠 Paludarium Workshop-- 10am–4pm
Adults only
Spend the day building a full paludarium, combining aquascaping and terrarium design into one living landscape.

Whether you’re bringing the kids for a hands-on nature workshop or joining us for a full-day adult paludarium build, there’s something for every nature-loving household.

It was wonderful to meet so many of you in person and to see so much genuine curiosity about planted tanks and aquascaping. The questions you asked were great and the energy in the room made it a really enjoyable morning.

What a wonderful day at our Kids Isopod Terrarium Workshop! 🌿🪲

Our young nature explorers built their own living terrariums, learned how isopods support a healthy ecosystem, and got up close with some of our other fascinating bug friends.
