I was in 7th grade when I was diagnosed with cancer in my o***y. As a woman, it was an important organ as it helps with fertility.

I was going through a lot of treatments and had on and off treatment for 2 years at a hospital in Noida where I was the youngest patient that made people pamper me.

But my life had a question mark of whether I’ll be married or not and after a time I had the fear of not being able to conceive or how my partner would treat me.

I had a positive attitude towards whatever was happening with me. I accepted my life however it was going to be.

Today, I’ve a 17 year old daughter that I conceived and delivered normally. I wasn’t born strong. There were times I went through anxiety, suicidal thoughts and depression.

I never thought I wanted to become a Motivational Speaker. There are certain incidents in our lives that give us huge transformations and I started to encourage people from my own experiences.

He made a basic social media presence to start his gym but now has India’s number 1 ranked podcast.

Ranveer Allahbadia, grew up in Mumbai and studied at Dhirubhai Ambani International School.

After his schooling, he pursued a B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai.

He realised a regular job wasn’t his cup of tea and he wanted to open a fitness gym.

Ranveer belongs to a doctor’s family, and it needs ultimate courage to be different.

He planned to make his social media presence by digital marketing, about 6 years ago which eventually gave birth to BeerBiceps i.e., his YouTube channel where he addressed his followers about fitness.

But very soon Ranveer pivoted into general lifestyle content. The successful switch into creating men's style & grooming content eventually paved the way to creating content of other kinds.

BeerBiceps, has now turned into a company that creates self-improvement content in various formats, with 6 running YouTube Channels having over 7 million subscribers.

When the BeerBiceps team was building self-improvement content for Indian & International audiences, Ranveer teamed up with Viraj Sheth, his junior from engineering college, to create Monk Entertainment.

What began as a talent management company, quickly began to work as a branding and content marketing agency.

Now, Monk Entertainment has an organisation of 80+ members that is a one-stop solution for digital marketing & talent management and is also known to be one of the Top Media Companies.

In 2018, BeerBiceps diversified into creating regional content online. Today the Hindi YouTube Channel, 'Ranveer Allahbadia' has over 2 million subscribers while the English YouTube channel has over 3 million subscribers.

In July 2019, the BeerBiceps team launched its podcast The Ranveer Show. TRS went on to feature legends like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gary Vanynerchuk, Priyanka Chopra, Kunal Shah, Glenn McGrath, Sadhguru & more.

In March 2020, The Ranveer Show became India's top ranked podcast on Spotify and continues to retain the position.

Thinking about creating a course and sharing your knowledge with learners?

Listen from a psychologist who helps people convert their knowledge into assets!

Where does she create courses? How is she doing it? Let’s find out!

“Last year during the peak of the covid, my friend Shobha Managoli whom I’ve known for 30 years reached out to me.

She said we’ve an initiative for women especially who want to share on a platform which is non-judgmental, very accepting, just to come together to share experiences.

Sharing was the main reason why this community came together and it’s beautiful, the way people come or didn’t come on certain occasions.

It has very united spirits amongst all of them, despite the fact that I didn’t know most of the people, they welcomed me really well.

Moving from a therapy clinical angle to academy one was not a comfortable process but a learning one.”

Dream big & dare to dream. Eventually, he took the plunge. We'll tell you how!

Prafull Billore was born in Dhar, a small town in Madhya Pradesh & had completed his graduation in commerce.

He dreamt of going to the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad to pursue his MBA Degree & worked day & night for the same.

Just like an Indian middle-class student he thought things would turn out better if he joined MBA & got a job afterwards.

But his dreams shattered when the CAT results were announced. After 3 failed attempts at clearing CAT, he decided to not study again.

He worked as a Management Trainee at McDonald’s & learned necessary business skills & was earning 300/- Rs. a day.

Alongway, he started his Chai Business in Ahmedabad. It took him nearly 45 days to muster up the courage to begin.

He asked for 10,000/- Rs. from his parents in the name of a course & invested the same on his Chai Tapri to buy the utensils.

Prafull believes that the way we lie to our parents when doing something wrong is something that we should do when doing right.

After a few days, his parents were concerned about his study, so he borrowed 15,000/- Rs. from them & enrolled in a college to get an MBA degree. On the 7th day of college, he quit.

Prafull did not feel happy at his job. He thought making burgers & taking orders is something he doesn’t want to do for the rest of his life. He wanted to make a reputable brand for him.

He left his job & focused on his Chai Tapri. After a few days, he decided to name it Mr. Billore Ahmedabad i.e., MBA Chai Wala.

He reached out to his customers speaking English & the fact that a roadside tea seller was speaking fluent English was fascinating for people.

To increase customer base, Prafull deepened customer engagement by creating a small corner for job seekers & put up a whiteboard for the job seekers to write down their details so potential employers could contact them.

5 years later, MBA Chai Wala is more than 50 franchisee outlets strong & growing stronger undertaking large-scale catering orders for parties, weddings, etc.

Prafull has launched the MBA Chaiwala Academy. The focus of this is to share entrepreneurial knowledge with other budding stars.

When the world was switching online, most of the role played in our education was by our educators. Our educators who don’t get time for themselves look after us.

We often forget that people at the position of counsellors are also humans. They need to be heard too.

We’ve one such counsellor who reached at a point who wanted to be listened to.

What did she do? How is she now being a listening ear to other people again?

The name Ratan Tata is one that needs no introduction.

Aside from being an amazing business tycoon, the tata group scion is also an amazing human being & humanitarian.

Ratan Naval Tata was an heir to one of India’s wealthiest industrialist families & was raised by his grandmother, Lady Navajbai.

He did his Bachelor's in Architecture from Cornell University, USA, & later pursued an Advanced Management Program from the Harvard Business School, USA.

After completing his studies, in 1962, Mr. Tata returned to India & turned down a job at IBM on JRD Tata's advice & joined his family business, the Tata Group for which he was sent to Jamshedpur to work at Tata Steel.

In 1971, he was appointed as the Director of National Radio & Electronics, which was in a bad state of 40% losses & only 2% of consumer market share.

But as soon as Ratan Tata joined, he gave its statistics an upward turn, he took the company from 2% of market share to 25%.

In 1981, JRD Tata declared Ratan Tata his successor & Ratan had to face criticism since people believed that he's not experienced enough to handle a business of the scale of Tata Industries.

After 10 years of his entry, he was appointed the Chairman of the Tata Group.

The Tata Group reached absolutely new heights which had never been experienced by this group. Under his direction, the company went through several different entrepreneurial ventures.

In June 2008, the Tata Group faced a global financial crisis due to the failure of the acquisition of Jaguar Land Rover. Bridge loans taken by them to fund the acquisition of JLR of US$ 3 billion were not fully repaid, only US$ 1 billion was.

The conversion of the corporate commonwealth of Tata-affiliated companies into 1 cohesive company, the acquisition of Tetley, Jaguar Land Rover & Corus, turned Tata from a major India-Centric company to a global business name & achieved success.

More than 66% of the shares in Tata Sons is given to different charitable trusts.

The highest Indian government honours, Padma Bhushan & Padma Vibhushan have been awarded to the industrialist.

In times of hardship, Ratan Tata's success story is an example of motivation & inspiration for everyone.

Ankur Warikoo - The man who clearly teaches us a lesson of success through his failures!

As a kid, Ankur always knew what he wanted to do in life.
1. Go to the US for PhD
2. Join NASA as a space scientist
3. Become the first man on Mars

But life is not as simple as we plan it to be.

Just like an Indian middle-class family, his parents ensured that he & his sister got a good education, irrespective of their financial situation.

He worked hard for his dream & made it to a top US university for a PhD program in Physics, on a complete scholarship.

He was doing well in his class, until he began to have a tough conversation with himself.

He wasn’t happy so he decided to leave his PhD & come back to India.

At the age of 24, with no savings he decided to reset his life all over again.

With someone’s suggestion, he decided to go for an MBA & fortunately got into the ISB.

After 1 year at his college, he joined a Global Management Consulting Firm - Kearney as a management consultant & worked for 3 years until 2009.

Alongside Kearney, he started to work with his classmates on his first venture - SecondShaadi.com in 2010.

In 2009, he quit his job to focus on his startup. The team built several other websites across automobiles, education, & finance.

The big one was Gaadi.com, which got sold to goibibo.com in 2010.

2 ventures later, in 2011, he started Groupon’s India business as the CEO leading the business for 4 years until 2015.

In 2015, they bought the Groupon India business from Groupon making it into an independent entity. Thus, nearbuy was founded & funded by Sequoia.

He was the CEO of nearbuy until 2019.

In 2016, he started an online video series called Warikoo Wednesdays on LinkedIn to build an employer brand & attract the best talent.

Now, his content centers around awareness to empower people to make informed decisions.

The no. 1 lesson clear from success stories of icons like him: Failure does not end a career.

P.S. When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. Just like how Team Mentogram has looked up to Mr. Warikoo, learned from him & were fortunate enough to meet him at an event.

Stanford dropout teens Kaivalya Vohra & Aadit Palicha are the youngest among the Indian billionaires.

They made it, but how?

Aadit Palicha & Kaivalya Vohra are two 20-year-old startup prodigy who have been friends since they were 8 years old.

When the pandemic was at its worst in 2020, they were living in Dubai & were admitted to Stanford University’s Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

They dropped out & came back to India to start the business, the idea of which occurred to them when buying groceries became extremely difficult.

The boys have come a long way from the days when they delivered groceries to homes in suburban Mumbai while sporting a green tee with KiranaKart splashed all over it.

The groceries were picked up from Kirana stores at the beginning, which gave them insight into challenges with route planning, delivery times, & order fulfilment.

Doing chores didn't earn them additional money, however. They began receiving 2000 orders daily via WhatsApp groups & the first version of their app, KiranaKart.

When they discovered that deliveries within a 1.8 km radius were making it to customers within minutes, a rapid commerce model Zepto began to take shape in their minds.

During a test of hyperlocal delivery, Aadit says they received 2000 orders a week. When Kaivalya & him were doing the delivery themselves. The delivery schedules were inconsistent, & the orders were unclear.

They learned that having a large number of SKUs would be beneficial, & looked at cohorts to discover that delivery times of more than an hour were a problem.

2 years ago, YCom paid them $125,000, with the remaining funds coming from other angel investors. As they reduced delivery time to less than 20 minutes.

When they delivered in less time, customers started interacting often. Result, they decided to scale.

They set out to find the bigger investors for their firm after working on the early versions of the app & learning from their failures.

This year, Kaivalya is ranked 1036 with a net worth of ₹1,000 crore on the Hurun list. Aadit Palicha ranked 950 with a net worth of ₹1,200 crore making them youngest on the list.

Can a small invite for a gathering result in the formation of a Tribe?

Let’s find out:

As a mental health professional, I found that many women were seeking a place to talk. In 2021, during the Pandemic, they were at home feeling suffocated, and stuck.

I sent an invitation for an initiative to my friends and family members. To my surprise, a huge number of women joined the initiative.

The ladies started to interact and with time, it became a weekly affair from May 2021.

By November 2021, we had heard enough stories, challenges, and issues of the women along with certain decisions taken by them.

We realised the style of Sharing, Caring in the process of Learning was actually working.

The tribe was started by me and my companion Anita Rajah but with the impact of the initiative 2 more ladies joined us and by default we became a group of 4.

We went to the drawing board and came up with ‘Tribes of Women’.

Since then we have been realising that we’re harnessing the wisdom that every woman holds within them, no matter if she's 18 years old or 85 years old.

Through life experiences, each woman has a wisdom that needs to be shared in an interactive narrative manner.

Why ‘Tribes of Women’?

Tribes means collective wisdom and not a proprietorship, wisdom that belongs to the group and not an individual.

In February 2022, we launched Tribes of Women officially as an initiative with the motive of Sharing, Caring and Learning without feeling Judged or feeling Humiliated but always feeling Listened to.
