Learning Beyond the Classroom – Primary 1 Multi-Disciplinary Project Work 🐾
Over the last three days, our Primary 1 students embarked on an exciting Project Work journey, working collaboratively in teams to explore the theme of Responsible Pet Ownership.
Through this authentic learning experience, students had the opportunity to connect knowledge from different subject areas and apply it to real-life situations while developing important 21st century competencies such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity.
Our young learners were privileged to learn from an SPCA expert, who shared valuable insights on caring for animals and the importance of treating every living creature with kindness. Students were also excited to hear from their classmates who proudly shared about their own pets, making learning meaningful and personal. One of the highlights of the project was welcoming some furry (and scaly!) friends from home, giving students a memorable hands-on experience interacting with different pets.
Throughout the project, students:
🐶 Conducted research on a pet of their choice.
🎨 Designed informative posters to raise awareness about treating animals with kindness and respect.
🏡 Learnt what it means to be responsible pet owners.
🐾 Explored ways they can help prevent animal cruelty within the community.
🧱 Unleashed their creativity by crafting adorable animals using clay.
This project empowered our students to become caring and responsible members of the community, reminding them that every animal deserves love, respect and care.💙🐱🐰

PAM Festival 2026:
Our students had a joyful time celebrating PAM Festival 2026, held in conjunction with our 100th anniversary under the themes “Our Heritage, Our Future” and “A Century of Hearts.” The festival honoured our rich legacy while inspiring a healthy and vibrant future.
Students engaged in lively recess booths featuring collaborations with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF), Land Transport Authority (LTA), and community artist Fish Jaafar, promoting the arts, healthy living, and community bonding.
The celebrations also included RMPS Got Talent, showcasing impressive student performances, and the Olympic Fest for Primary 3 to 6 students, where teamwork and sportsmanship were on full display.
It was truly a memorable celebration of our past, present, and future as one united school community.
With a humble enrolment of only 40 boys, Radin Mas Primary School has grown so much over 100 years. Stay tuned for more fun facts about our rich heritage ✨
