A warm and beautiful evening at Nee Soon Community Club, celebrating Singapore’s National Day — the air filled with gratitude, pride, and a quiet joy that made every moment feel vivid and meaningful.
In every smile and every exchange, I felt the story of a nation — one shaped through hardship, forged with iron grit, and lifted through years of unwavering perseverance. From humble beginnings, Singapore has risen through toil and endurance, standing today as a symbol of resilience and unity.
What made the evening especially meaningful was bringing along my clients and foreign student interns, allowing them to experience the unique Singapore spirit — our traditions, our rich cultural diversity, and the harmony we hold so dearly. As we waved the red and white flag, adorned with the crescent moon and five stars, it gently reminded us of our forefathers’ dreams and the legacy we carry forward today.
A baton passed from one generation to the next — not only of progress, but of hope, courage, and a deep sense of belonging.
The night ended in a joyful chorus of “Yum Seng!” — laughter echoing, glasses raised, and spirits high. A heartfelt thank you to my dear friend and client, Dr Daisy Wee, for her kind invitation and warm hospitality. Grateful for friendships that make such moments even more meaningful.
Tonight, we celebrate not just a nation, but its people, its journey, and the enduring spirit that binds us all together. 🇸🇬

在义顺民众俱乐部度过了一个温暖而美好的夜晚，共同庆祝新加坡国庆——空气中弥漫着感恩、自豪与一份宁静的喜悦，让每一个瞬间都显得格外生动而深刻。
在每一个笑容、每一次交流中，我都感受到一个国家的故事——一个由艰辛塑造、以钢铁般意志锤炼，并在多年坚定不移的坚持中不断奋进的故事。从最初的简朴起点，新加坡在辛勤与坚韧中崛起，今日已成为坚韧与团结的象征。
这个夜晚格外有意义，因为我带着客户与外国学生实习生一同参与，让他们亲身体验独特的新加坡精神——我们的传统、丰富多元的文化，以及我们所珍视的和谐共处。当我们挥舞着红白相间、点缀着新月与五颗星的国旗时，那一刻仿佛温柔地提醒着我们先辈的梦想，以及我们今日所承载与延续的使命。
一代又一代的接力棒在传递——不仅是发展的延续，更是希望、勇气与深厚归属感的传承。
夜晚在一片欢腾的“Yum Seng！”声中圆满落幕——笑声回荡、举杯同庆、气氛高涨。衷心感谢我的好友兼客户Dr Daisy Wee的盛情邀请与热情款待，也感恩这些珍贵的情谊，让这样的时刻更加意义非凡。
今夜，我们庆祝的不仅是一个国家，更是她的人民、她的历程，以及那份将我们紧紧连结在一起的恒久精神。🇸🇬
