Barbell Hip Thrusts
A fantastic compound exercise that helps stabilize the pelvis, lower back, and knees -
which makes it ideal for targeting low bone density in the hips and femur bones, aligning the knee joints, and promoting stronger glutes and better balance.
I love variations of this exercise as well, especially the Single Leg Dumbbell Hip Thrust - of which my clients are quite familiar with by now.
This exercise is great for diverse groups of individuals across ages and backgrounds.

Carmen and I have come a long way from where we started with training. Having to manage and work around their trapezius injury has posed many challenges within programming and exercise selection.
Cheryl Low's precise diagnosis of the root cause of a very chronic and pain-inducing injury, coupled with consistent training, has led Carmen to become much stronger, and on most days, completely pain-free.

Trap-3 Raises (chest supported)
This exercise is a brilliant way to improve the stability of the upper back and to support movements that load the upper body.
On top of that, this exercise is also great for increasing the range of motion in the shoulder on top of strengthening the muscles required for good posture.

Really happy with how far I've come with my own recovery since my bad shoulder injury in Dec 2020.
I've broken range limits that I had even before my injury and can perform exercises like full range dips without pain. Something I thought impossible post-injury.
I attribute this to mindful training and mobility work. Its crazy how much mobility work pays off when done right.

The Tibialis Anterior is one of the primary muscles responsible for absorbing the forces applied in a heel strike.
By strengthening it, you not only prevent shin splints but you increase your ability to apply load through your ankles when you walk, run, and jump!

A fantastic exercise to accompany your shoulder health routine.
The unique and complex anatomy of the shoulder make it the joint with the greatest range of motion, but the least stability.
That, in turn, makes it more susceptible to strain, repetitive injuries and aging than other joints.
