We are offering Full scholarships for 40 students from ASEAN :)

This program will be held virtually from 29 November to 13 December 2021 and is specially curated for all undergraduates passionate to kick-start a social impact business, e-commerce and digital marketing project.

Paired with courses from SUSS Entrepreneurship's Gig Academy, students will learn from Industry Experts, and use skills acquired to implement ACTUAL solutions for Social Enterprises in Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Form friendships and collaborate with undergraduates from other nations for social good.

As we come to the end of the programme, here are some of our participants’ personal reflections of their journey.

Over the past 3 weeks, the participants of partnered with their respective local communities to create sustainable social impact projects in hopes of creating an impact together. Swipe to view the most viable ideas the Orang Asli and Cau Ke local community voted for.

To gain a better understanding of each community, participants immersed in cultural activities led by community members. Some participants put their cooking skills to the test, learning how to make fried cassava from Aeta Community and Banana Turon from Silver Heights Community 🧑🏼‍🍳👩🏼‍🍳, while others enjoyed dance and drawing lessons with the Cau Ke and Orang Asli community 🕺✍🏼!

Meet the 4 local communities from the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia that we are partnering with to develop social impact projects! ✨🌎

For week 1, our participants attended workshops ranging from Design Thinking to Impact Assessment. Led by our community mentors, students learnt about solving global challenges through a local lens, using social innovation to develop a social impact project to create lasting positive changes on the lives of local communities🌎. 61 undergraduates from SUSS and the region participated in — a virtual exchange programme based around 3 main themes: Social Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Development and Community Development in the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia 🇵🇭🇻🇳🇲🇾.
