Our Secondary 4 students recently took part in a Hajj simulation organised by the Dirasat Islamiyyah Department as part of their Fiqh lessons. Through this immersive experience, students were given the opportunity to practically understand the rites and journey of Hajj in a more meaningful and engaging way.
By experiencing the rituals firsthand, the session helped students strengthen their understanding of one of the pillars of Islam while fostering greater appreciation, reflection, and spiritual connection.
May Allah continue to grant them beneficial knowledge and guide them to become individuals of faith, sincerity, and excellence.

On Monday, 11th May 2026, Madrasah Aljunied welcomed Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin Bin Abu Bakar Al-Hamid for a meaningful sharing session titled โBetween Artificial Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence.โ
Habib emphasised the important role of madrasah in nurturing a generation of knowledgeable individuals who are not only intellectually equipped, but also rooted in taqwa and strong Islamic values.
Among the key reminders shared was the importance of never taking the pursuit of knowledge lightly. True suhbah (companionship) with the righteous and scholars carries immense blessings, wisdom, and adab that cannot be replaced by AI.
Habib also reminded us that knowledge is not merely information, but it must give rise to adab and akhlak. These are qualities that AI can never truly possess.
Habib highlighted the responsibility we carry in what we share on social media. Every piece of information posted should be done with care, responsibility, and wisdom, ensuring that it does not lead to fitnah or harm others.
This Zulhijjah, fulfil the sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim a.s. and reap the rewards of the Hereafter by performing your Korban with Madrasah Aljunied. ๐๐

Alhamdullilah! Congratulations to all award recipients at Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah's Haflah Takharruj, Graduation & Special Award Ceremony 2026, held on 18 April 2026. This significant milestone celebrates the Pre-University 2 cohort as they complete their final year of study.
A special shoutout to Hannah Yusra Binte Rashid, the valedictorian, who was awarded first in level and achieved outstanding academic performance in Azhar 2.0. She emerged as one of the top scorers in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) whilst consistently excelling in both Islamic and academic studies!
Ma sya Allah, regardless of the results, we are proud of all our studentsโ dedication, perseverance, and the amanah of knowledge they carry with purpose. These graduates embody the madrasah's mission to nurture well-rounded individuals who are grounded in Islamic values whilst equipped to contribute meaningfully to society.
