23 July 2026, Thursday: A Joyful Celebration of Racial Harmony! 🌻

Sunflower Preschool at Tenaga came alive with vibrant colours, laughter, and cultural appreciation as children and their families celebrated Racial Harmony Day together!

Families explored our interactive Indian, Malay, Chinese, and Eurasian cultural booths, where they discovered unique traditions, admired beautiful artworks, and took part in exciting traditional games that have been enjoyed for generations.

The celebration was made even more special as parents joined their children in these meaningful experiences, creating precious memories while learning about the importance of respect, inclusion, and unity. Each child also went home with a goodie bag as a reminder of this wonderful day of learning and celebration.

Together, we celebrate our diverse cultures, embrace our differences, and grow stronger as one community. ❤️🇸🇬

PG, N1, and N2 Parent Workshop: First Aid Procedure & Making a Healthy Dessert for Young Children was a wonderful success! 💛

A big thank you to all our PG, N1, and N2 parents and guardians who joined us and spent the morning learning, creating, and connecting with us at Sunflower Preschool @ Tenaga. We hope you found the first aid sharing informative and gained practical knowledge to confidently respond to common childhood emergencies. We also hope you enjoyed preparing a simple and healthy dessert that you can recreate at home with your little ones.

Your active participation, enthusiasm, and support made this workshop truly meaningful. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in your child's learning journey and to strengthen our home-school partnership.

What makes a place feel happy, safe, and loved?

Our Happy Place: Parent & Child Art Jam Workshop (23rd May) invited families to explore this question together through creativity, conversation, and connection.

Parents and children worked side by side to create their own “happy place” while experimenting with colours, shapes, lines, and textures to express feelings, share ideas, and tell their unique stories. Through each brushstroke, families had the opportunity to communicate, collaborate, and strengthen their bonds in a meaningful and joyful way.

It was heartwarming to witness the creativity, laughter, and teamwork that filled the room. Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the session such a memorable experience. We hope you left with not only a beautiful piece of art, but also beautiful memories created together. 🎨✨

5 June 2026 (Friday): Sunflower Preschool @ Tenaga Visits Kiztopia @ Jewel Changi!

What a fun-filled day of adventure, exploration, and bonding! Our PG and N1 children, together with their parents, had a wonderful time at Kiztopia @ Jewel Changi.

The children enjoyed exploring the exciting play zones, climbing, sliding, building, and engaging in imaginative play while developing their motor skills, confidence, and social interactions. It was heartwarming to see parents and children learning, laughing, and creating special memories together throughout the day.

Thank you to all our parents for joining us and making this field trip a meaningful and memorable experience for our little ones. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! 🌻

22 May 2026 (Friday): Sunflower Preschool @ Tenaga Visits KidZania Singapore! 🌻

Our N2, K1, and K2 children had an amazing and memorable day at KidZania Singapore! The children were excited to explore the city and experience a variety of real-world professions through fun, hands-on activities. From becoming pilots, doctors, chefs, news reporters, and firefighters to trying many other exciting roles, they had the opportunity to learn about different careers while developing confidence, independence, and teamwork skills. 🧑‍✈️👩‍🍳👨‍🚒

Throughout the day, the children enthusiastically participated in each activity, worked together with their friends, and discovered new interests in a safe and engaging environment. Their smiles, curiosity, and excitement made the experience even more special.

It was truly a wonderful day filled with learning, exploration, creativity, and unforgettable memories! 🌻
