💖 - Seek help before it gets severe, and becomes a problem.

❤️ Depression can be experienced by people of all ages; and experiencing symptoms of depression by members of the the silver generation, is one of the signs of cognitive decline.
📚 Should a Mild Cognitive Impairment be diagnosed, activities, for example, art and music, could be a possible intervention to return to normal ageing.

❤️ Just attended the online Tow Tiang Seng Distinguished Lecture Series, "Are Women at Higher Risk of Mental Illness?"
📚 A Community Health and Intergenerational (CHI) study (Yeo Book Khim Mind Science Centre programme).
📚 Speakers include A/P Rathi Mahendran, A/P Wong Mun Loke and Prof Kua Ee Heok.
📚 Website of CHI Study:

❤️ If our loved ones are experiencing symptoms of depression, it is important to and support from a healthcare professional. Early detection and active intervention can make a difference in improving the overall quality of life.
