It’s true ⁣

Life is simple, humans make it harder.⁣

We see thing and try to break it down, make assumptions, predictions, making something simple into a story.⁣

Not everything requires Sherlock Holmes detective work.⁣

Enjoy that things are simple, it doesn’t need to be complicated, and the more complicated it is, doesn’t mean it’s better.

Your body doesn’t operate like isn’t like a cash register in a business.⁣

Where you have to tally up the sales for the day, and to check it against the items sold.⁣

You can gain weight overnight, and lose it the next day or over 2-3 days.⁣

Relax, and hold your horses.⁣

Just because your weight went up, doesn’t mean you’ve ruined everything or deem yourself a failure.⁣

Salt, carbohydrates, etc, all create a water retention.⁣

The lack of bowel movement, also leads to additional weight “gain” till you’ve excreted it out of your system.⁣

Its the average weight gain over the week that is a sign if you’re losing or gaining weight.⁣

I probably ought to change it, but it’s pretty true.

You must or will fail to know what you need to do to be successful.

If you don’t know what if failure, you won’t know success, unless you’re defining success by how others view it.

You call the shots, success in your own terms, in addition the failure doesn’t need to be devastating that it affects you negatively.

If you’re gaining weight weekly on a diet program, something isn’t working.

If you’re losing more money, to making money in investments, that’s another potential failure.

Failure allows you to know what’s not working, and push you to make changes to things that work.

Christmas is coming!! ⁣

Or it can be winter is coming.⁣

With the festivities coming, it may be a time for more festive foods, or having more treats.⁣

If that’s something you’ve decided to do, what can you do now or even during any festive times to minimize the overall impact.⁣

It’s to have more lean protein options, Low calorie foods/fruits, fiberous vegetables and to spent time eating.⁣

What tends to happen is that we’re distracted and be eating more than needed, which can gradually increases the overall intake.

Walking seems boring ⁣

However walking does have a number of benefits.⁣

It can help in your fat or weight loss.⁣

It can help improve your relationship by being able to spend time with your significant other.⁣

It can help you up skill and up level yourself by learning more.⁣

It allows you to spend time outdoors which can allow you to destress.⁣

However what do you do if it’s been raining, which means you can’t walk outdoors without getting wet.⁣

You can take the stairs, walk on the spot, or have a foldable treadmill at your place.

Life doesn’t stay the same most of the time, there are ups and downs.⁣

Your weight is the same, it would always fluctuate.⁣

Don’t be so hyper focused on your weight staying the same or not having any slight changes.⁣

What you eat or drink changes your weight.⁣

Doing the same things and expecting different results is a form of insanity.⁣

If you’ve been using the same methods, not seeing any difference, and expecting for something different, you won’t be seeing any.⁣

Don't be mislead into expecting things to change, if you’re repeating the same actions.

Energy Expenditure ⁣

There is a difference between energy expenditure of someone sedentary against someone more active.⁣

This is why someone who is physically active would be able to eat more calories as compared to someone sedentary.⁣

Be it just at maintaining weight, just the balance between energy expenditure and intake would be higher.⁣

If you’re someone who’s more sedentary, or don’t intend to do so, it’s going to be so much harder for you.⁣

Especially when it comes to weight or fat loss, where the increased energy expenditure would only come from decreasing food intake.⁣

Be more active, have more physical activity which had much more health benefits apart from weight loss.
