Anyone interested in booking a guided trip should know that I will be leaving Costa Rica August 1st for the monsoon season as we only get a few decent days to fish per week and tourist numbers decline drastically. I will return at the end of the year, probably late November - early December to cont snorkeling and guided kayak fishing . I still have a few weeks if you're interested in going out offshore or inshore . I will still be active from the states if you would like to book one of my preferred boat captains for offshore or inshore boat fishing as I can arrange that via "Whatsapp". The same option pertains to lodging recommendations . Please let me know ASAP if interested so we can get you hooked.

A Little dorado action this morning

Making guest happy is the goal and we put you with the captains and charters who can do it ! Another successful day out on Gato 3 in Jaco, CR !! Good job guys !!! Even had a few snapper and grouper at the end to fry up but these are the catches of the day . Jeremy and I just babysat the cooler and made sure the beer didn't get warm while spotting lines and watching baits !! What a great way to spend a Wednesday!! Wahoo steaks for days !!

Throw back to fishing the sea wall in Corpus

Went out with Jeremy, Arthur and my Pa and found a bunch of Jacks . Excuse my flawed photo of Jeremy's . Had a nice snapper on that would have been one for my books. Took an insane initial run literally Ripping line off the spool for a good 5 seconds before getting nestled up in a nice hole . For a moment had me feeling like I hooked the ground but I knew that wasn't possible in 50' of wAter with the lure I was using (Yo Zuri Crystal Minnow deep diver10') . So after tightening down and literally winching the fish out it gave me a couple more good hard head jolts and then just as fast as it was on the hook... It was Off. Had me red hot . Oh well bent hooks are part of catching big fish . I'll go back for her !
