Math tuition with Marc

My Sec 1 Exp student from ACS(I) got 79% for EOY exam. Hard work and Consistency is the key!

Another 3NA student of mine who made me worried at first, as he had improved alot since sec 2 (around B4-C5 for sec 2 mid year, before I took him), and I had high expectations for him this year. Sent me such worrying texts after the End-of-year exam, but got 83.5% in the end. Highest in class, but 2nd in cohort. Super proud of him!

I believe I saw a huge improvement in his attitude at the beginning of Sec 3, when he realised what he wanted to do in future, and had a goal in mind. This gave him the motivation to work really hard, and he would msg me asking how to do maths problems at night, as well as what he could do to improve his chances of getting into Poly foundation programme (PFP) from 4NA.

Students like him really give me the motivation to continuously improve my craft, so I can help more students realise their potential.

Finally got to take a photo of my student's exam paper. (3na) 89%, top in cohort😄! Parents play a huge role in how well their child does in their education, and should try to take an active role. This student's mother worked really closely with me to help and motivate her child, like I would send her 5 questions a day on WhatsApp, and she would print it out for him to practise everyday, as he was weak in a certain topic. His results are proof of what I mentioned.

Another hardworking student of mine who managed to get 83% for Sec 2 EOY exam. He has already started tuition on Sec 3 A & E maths during the November holidays. His hard work will pay off.

85% for EOY exam for my sec 1 girl, who deserves it as she's really hard-working. Remember, tuition is only 1.5-2 hours a week. You have to put in the effort on your own for the rest of the week if you want to score well in Math.

My sec 1IP student from TJC. Her mom told me that she had difficulty with maths in primary school, and was worried she would struggle badly in IP stream. The problems are definitely more difficult, but with hard work and a positive attitude, I believe she can improve further. 70% for EOY exam, not fantastic, but a good achievement for her.

Student Ed was failing 2 N(A) maths very badly, and had just failed his WA2 even with a tutor. After 3 months under my tutelage, he managed to score a high A1 for WA3. Of course, EOY exams will be more challenging, with so many chapters being tested (including sec 1 concepts which I can't complete in time), but we set a goal that we should aim for a B4 first. Let's see how he does!

Sec 1 exp Math reminders. I customise these reminders for each student based on their weaknesses for every level before each WA and Exam.

Have taught this girl since Sec 1. She got a B4 for mid year and she was the one that asked her mom to engage a tutor for her as she wanted to score better. One of my ex student's mother recommended me to her as he had failed Sec 3 Exp EOY badly (20+%) and managed to get B4 for his O levels after 10 months of tuition under me.

Really proud of this girl. 84.5% for Sec 4 Express Prelim!
