Multilingualism is a unique characteristic of Singaporeans and usually takes root through practised BILINGUALISM in the form of the common language (English) and one’s Mother Tongue (Chinese in my case). Is bilingualism difficult to pick up? Yes, it is. Is it impossible? No, it isn’t! Certainly, ten vocabulary words a day isn’t difficult! 🗣️

1. 宣布 (xuān bù) – Verb: Announce something publicly.

9. 建议 (jiàn yì) – Verb: Suggest or propose an idea.
10. 说出 (shuō chū) – Verb: Utter something, speak out.

This list of ten verbs is based on the very first post on this platform ‘Vocabulary That ‘Talks’’, redone in Chinese. A good start to bilingualism if any! 💬
