Bringing soil regeneration into the climate crisis and sustainability conversation through a series of courses and research on soil. Based in Singapore.

10/03/2026

To tend to the soil is to enter a lively, abundant relationship.
With the land that feeds us, with the systems that sustain us, and with each other.

As we slow down to learn from the ground beneath our feet, we begin to see how everything connects, from climate, food, care, community, and our shared future.

Preserving a Living Earth isn’t just an idea we keep to discussions in closed rooms or on paper, it’s a living practice cultivated in community!

Curious to learn more? Join us in our upcoming courses as we carry forward the living conversations from the Living Earth Festival. This is your invitation to root our learnings into practice through a full season of soil regeneration courses.

Head to our website to learn more about our upcoming courses. Our next course is Living Soil, spanning over 3 days - 24, 26 & 30 March!

All our courses in this season are held in-person, in Singapore !

This season, Living Soil Asia is bringing their full cycle of soil regeneration courses into the event & workshop space of The Fashion Pulpit! TFP is a social enterprise reimagining fashion through environmental education, circularity, and conscious style.

Some of you may remember that The Fashion Pulpit was also our partner for the East Coast/Sentosa textile art piece at the Living Earth Festival (see slide 5)! This collaboration quite literally wove together home, story, and recycled materials. Now, we continue that thread, returning to the ground itself.

Why a course on soil in a fashion-centred space? Regeneration touches every aspect of life! What happens in the fashion industry flows downstream into our soils and waters, where dye pollution and textile waste shape the health of ecosystems and agriculture alike (but more on this later!)...

Across all four courses, we’ll explore soil through a holistic, systems lens, rooted in our lived experiences working on the land in Singapore and regionally. Expect hands-on learning, multimedia explorations, dynamic discussions, and yes… getting your hands dirty! 🤲🏼

To gather in spaces like this is to remember we are part of a larger fabric of life 😉

Join us. 🌱🌀

Have you ever thought of soil being one of the most direct ways to understand how everything is connected?

When we begin to understand soil not as “dirt” but as the living skin of the Earth, linking the atmosphere, water cycles, rocks, plants, food systems, and human culture, we start to see the bigger picture of how our daily choices ripple through ecosystems, and how regeneration can begin from the ground up.

Join us for our upcoming courses as we tease these connections apart! Sign up for the Full Cycle, or take the courses individually! It’s all designed to build on each other and meet you where you are.

Blessed New Year, dear friends!

As the calendar turns, we’re reminded that nature moves differently. 🍃🌀

While the new year begins on paper, we borrow gently from winter’s wisdom. Perhaps this season here in the tropics is also inviting us to continue our slowing where we can, to listen a little more closely, and to honour what is dormant, unfinished, or still taking shape.

Perhaps for you, too, old layers from the past year are still breaking down, making space for future nourishment. A reminder that not everything needs to be named or acted on just yet. Let’s make space for the patient and slow opening that is underway.

Swipe through to sit with some reflective wintering-inspired questions to ease into 2026 with patience and compassion for ourselves and each other.

We’ll see you in the soil real soon, plant folks. 🫶🏼

Which questions speak to you the most? Share with us in the comments, we’d love to know!

The gathering of the Living Earth Festival lives on!

Explore our Soil Trail to deepen your understanding of the landscapes we depend on. Each station, workshop and programme offers insights into soil health, biodiversity, and the unseen processes that keep our local ecosystems thriving.

As you walk, notice how the mycelial kampong continues to connect people, places, and possibilities here on our little island (and beyond). Let this trail be a reminder that caring for our soil, our land and our home is a shared act of community, grounding us in both responsibility and wonder.

As you wander along the Soil Trail, capture your favourite moments and tag us with — let’s keep the mycelial stories weaving through our living grounds!

Across Festival Days 1 and 2, we gather for a series of films that meander between the lines of land, home, and community. We will be featuring the return of ‘Sandcastles’ by Carin Leong and ‘Moving Earth’ by Ian Mun, alongside ‘The Economics of Happiness’ by Local Futures and ‘Churning the Earth’ by Srishti Films with Kalpavriksh.

These films invite us to be present to witness stories of community, land, loss, resistance, and renewal. It invites us to rethink what it means to build, to root, and to belong.

Come be heard in the storytelling of humanity’s shared journeys.
