SRMV BCG PG MASTERCLASS 2023
Society Of Respiratory Medicine, Vadodara ( BCG) conducted an academic session for Post Graduate students for Practical Exam preparation. It was conducted on 30th April, 2023, Sunday at GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Vadodara.
Session started at 8.30am and finished at 4.30pm .
It started with Dr Dharmesh Patel’s welcome speech and introduction by Dean of GMERS Medical College Hospital Dr Mayur Adalja. Session was conducted by Dr Hiren Parikh.
A total of 40 Pulmonology post graduate students from six medical colleges took part to enhance their examination skills in this academic session.
The following medical colleges Post Graduate students attended the program;
1. GMERS medical college, Vadodara
2. SSG Hospital, Vadodara
3. SUMANDEEP ( Dhiraj Hospital) Vadodara
4. PARUL University ( Vadodara)
5. Pramukh Swami Medical College, Karamsad
6. SMIMER Medical College, Surat
Following Faculties guided all students for exam preparation:
Internal Faculties-
1. Dr Mayur Adalja ( GMERS)
2. Dr Anand Patel ( GMERS)
3. Dr Jitendra Sisodia ( SSG)
4. Dr Arti Shah (Dhiraj )
There were two invited External Faculties :
1. Dr Nikhil Sarangdhar ( Mumbai)
2. Dr Arvind Pandey (SMIMER Surat)
Under guidance of all esteemed faculty, all post graduates students learnt many important parts of clinical exams like taking history, thorough examinations - Inspection, Palpitations, Percussion and Auscultation.
All post graduates got opportunities to prepare cases ( Long and Short cases ) and how to present in front of all faculties.
Post Lunch time , academic sessions continued with Radiological Discussions with interesting Chest X Rays and HRCT Chest. Also detail knowledge of various Instruments and medications was shared with Post Graduate Students.
About 25 BCG members were also present to encourage all Post Graduate Students
Session completed by giving certificates to all Post Graduates students.
Refreshments and lunch was served to all present.
This academic session was well appreciated by all post graduate students.
