Probably one of the most-asked questions by every beginner. "Rep" here means repetition, and how many times you should repeat the motion in one set.
Different training goal requires different reps, and here's the general guide to get things done:
General fitness: This is a reasonable goal for someone who is new to weight lifting and wants to improve daily function and overall health. 12 - 15 reps are great for starters.
Muscular endurance: The muscle's ability to produce and sustain force over an extended period of time. Typically, you would work toward this goal with a program of higher reps with slightly lower weight. You want to go more than 12 reps.
Hypertrophy: This means building muscle mass and your aim is to plan for higher volumes of work at moderate-to-high intensity levels with minimal rest periods between sets, with repetition between 6 - 12.
Muscular strength: The ability to generate a maximal amount of muscle force for a particular exercise. You'll generally lower the number of reps, anything less than 6 reps, but increase the intensity.
Power: Powerlifting simply refers to the ability to generate a significant magnitude of force in the shortest amount of time possible. Repetition should land below 5.

Fasting is and always has been a huge debate in fitness world. Some say fasting helps to regulate insulin and burn body fats; while others think that fasting burns muscle, instead of body fat.
There's no specific answer to this, but here's our 2 cents about fasting:
β‘ Listen to your body, everyone is different.
β‘ Fasting is a weight loss tool, but it is not suitable for everyone: pregnant women, breastfeeding's moms, people with underlying health conditions.
β‘ To achieve overall health, quality of food and lifestyle is still the rule of thumb.
β‘ Fasting sounds easy, but we recommend to consult a professional trainer or nutritionist before implementation.

The firm surface and outsole of the shoes provide solid support to the lifters, while reducing the range of motion of deadlifts -- which makes a huge different to most athletes.
