A week filled with creativity, discovery, and inspiration! ✨
As the school term drew to a close, our Sec 1 students immersed themselves in diverse arts experiences through workshops and a cohort visit to the Esplanade for a concert by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. These enriching opportunities allowed students to explore the arts, broaden their horizons, and experience the power of live performance firsthand.

Ending the term with a Kindness Quest 💛
Our Sec 1 students took part in a meaningful quest planned and facilitated by our Kindness Ambassadors, who stepped up as station masters to lead their peers through activities linked to their VIA focus. Amidst the fun and laughter, students were reminded of the many ways kindness can be shown in our everyday lives.
Meridians, kindness reflects our school value of compassion, that is, being thoughtful, caring and looking out for one another. Let’s continue to practise kindness wherever we go!

On 18 May, our students from Sec 4/2 and 5A1 spent a meaningful afternoon with the residents of Bright Hill Evergreen Home. Our students led a vibrant lineup of activities to keep our seniors active and engaged, including: balloon volleyball and bowling to painting and five stones. 🎨🎳
From start to end, students stepped up to the challenge, from planning the games, finding the logistics and finding creative ways to connect despite language barriers.
💭 Student Reflections
“I enjoyed this engagement because it gave me a chance to communicate with different generations beside my grandparents.” — Jeanette
“There was a bit of a challenge because of common topics and the language barrier. Next time, I might prepare topics beforehand to talk to them about!” — Evan
“Before this, I thought the elderly would just sit there without much energy. I realized they can be full of energy, and I even learned some used-to-play sports!” — Fariq Rinaldi
We are proud of our students for their empathy, patience, and initiative. Thank you to Bright Hill Evergreen Home for welcoming us with open arms! 🏠❤️
