This activity book is packed with puzzles and matching games with reusable velcro stickers. Young children learn simple concepts like colour 🟥🟧🟨🟩🟦🟪and counting through the activities while younger children can practise their gross motor skills by sticking and pulling out the velcro stickers.

The books are definitely a life-saver for us. I have lost count of the number of times they helped to keep my girls👯‍♀️ entertained either during meal times or while we were on the go. 🚗The best part is my girls learn about colours and matching while having fun!

*Disclaimer: Yes, it did keep the girls entertained but the girls also started quarrelling over which stickers and who should be sticking / pulling out the velcro stickers. 🤦‍♀️

I ❤ how little sister J was concentrating and reading the book with mummy in this video!

This is indeed an achievement for little sister J as she has really short attention span and always can't seem to sit through a single book!

However, with the highly repetitious language, little sister J is hooked on this book and has been able to sit through more than once of reading this book!

Another Chinese book ❤ by my children!

This is a storybook, with colourful illustrations and interactive flaps that allow children to imagine and role play what happens at the clinic! The book will also remind children to wash their hands frequently, as repeated by the main character, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗻 after every patient's consultation.

The story follows 𝗗𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿 and 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗻 as they start their day at the 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰! Along comes various patients in need of help! Little Rabbit has a sore throat, Little Pig comes with a tummyache, Little Monkey is at the clinic for a flu jab. The funniest part of is when Little Hippo has something up his nose and Dr Bear has to do something out of the ordinary to help his little patient!

An easy to read book and easily relatable for the children! It also allows Children to role play and hopefully overcome their fear of going to see the doctor when they are sick!

A book highly recommended by my daughter to your children!

Introducing another book - 米米爱收拾 in 米米没问题 series of Chinese books!

In this book, the main character - 米米 👦 loves playing with his toys but does not keep them after playing. As a result, he kept tripping over the toys and was really heartbroken when he broke his piggy bank after tripping over his toy train🚂!

After that, 米米's mum taught 米米 how to 'send his toys home' and the importance of keeping the toys after playing.

What I ❤ about the book is that, our children can easily relate to the book - how often is it that our children refuse to keep the toys after playing!

Through the colourful illustrations and following 米米, children will also learn the consequence if they do not keep their toys.

It also encourages our children to have the habit of keeping the toys after playing.

The other 9 books in the 米米没问题 series are similarly easily relatable for parents and children - eg. toilet training, cutting down on pacifier. This is also my daughter's 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀!

The books are part of a structured Chinese Reading Program which aims to reinforce the learning of new vocabulary and comprehension of the short stories. Simple activities in the activity books also help to spark children's interests and build their confidence in learning the Chinese language.

What I ❤ about the books is that there are simple Chinese words summarised on the 1st page of each storybook like 哭, 爬, 走, 拍手, which will be repeated and reinforced in the rest of the stories. With the high repetitious language, it allows the child to remember the content and start recognising the Chinese words.

Simple activities like drawing lines to join the actions to the Chinese words (e.g. 笑, 坐, 跳, 站) or drawing circles around the correct character (e.g. 爸爸, 妈妈, 姐姐, 弟弟, 奶奶,爷爷) help to reinforce the recognition of Chinese words.

This is definitely a great series to start teaching your children to read in Chinese, in an easy and fun way!

Introducing another book - 小象要回家🐘 in our series of Chinese books!

In this book, the main character - 小佳 👧brings home her favourite toy, 小象 🐘 from school. It then shows the emotions experienced by her toy, 小象 🐘 and how 小佳 👧decides to return the toy back to school eventually.

What I ❤ about the book is that, our children can easily relate to the book as it is based in a school setting 🏫 and how often it is that our children will have that favourite toy in school that they want to bring home!

It also teaches our children empathy by sharing the feelings of 小佳's 👧favourite toy 小象 🐘 and how 小佳 came round to understanding and decide to return the toy to school.

Highly recommended by my daughters to your children!
