💛 Adjustment Takes Time — and That’s Okay
The first month of school can feel overwhelming for both children and parents. New routines, new expectations, and big emotions all come together — and that’s a normal part of settling in.
You may notice your child feeling more tired, emotional, or clingy, or having meltdowns after school. Some children may even show temporary regression. These are not signs of misbehavior, but signs that your child is adjusting and learning to cope with something new.
With patience, predictable routines, and gentle support, children gradually build confidence and feel secure. Thank you for walking this journey with them — one step at a time. 💛
On 22nd April, the K2 children went on a meaningful learning journey to Muhammadiyah Active Ageing Centre as part of the Start Small Dream Big programme.
The children had the opportunity to interact with the seniors through a joyful performance, where they sang songs confidently and happily. They also took part in a bookmark-making activity, working together with the seniors to create beautiful handmade crafts.
The visit was filled with smiles, laughter, and warm conversations between the young and the elderly. The day ended with a cheerful group photo, capturing these precious memories.
It was a heartwarming and enriching experience that nurtured kindness, respect and meaningful bonding ❤️
