As a patisserie, is heavily involved in the R&D process of his creations, and that puts him in a constant state of carbs overload, compounding over time and ultimately leading to bigger storage.

8 weeks ago, he made a decision to approach me, determined to change his health outlook for the better and henceforth, started his training journey to achieve his desired goal.

We embarked on the first step of the training journey, which involves shaping the mindset. I shared about the “Do” or the “Don’t” mindset and not settling for anything in-between; determination is key. In the diet aspect, he was tasked to heighten his protein intake, along with his activity level, bringing him to his current phase.

To be successful at something, sometimes you may have to take the less convenient route.

Let’s take fat loss as a context where energy in and energy out preliminarily dictates how fast, slow or successful you will be to achieve the task at hand.

If everything is convenient around you, you may sink into human nature of being a sloth. You will probably not clock that step that you were supposed to as tasked by your coach which possibly end the day with lesser energy out than what you intake.

Convenience can be an excuse. All it takes is one daily step towards the right direction but you do not need to be a lone wolf. Mix with a pack that journeys towards the same or similar destination or end goal. However you decide to proceed, it will be a fulfilling one. YOLO.

We all have the same 24 hours but out man does not have the luxury of time juggling his part time studies and full time work at naval base.

So, what changed? His choices. If there is one thing we have power over is our power of choices.

We started off making him choose better food choices. Increase his activity levels by making it as inconvenient to reach certain parts of this lil red dot. Lastly, weight training cause duh you want to lose them fats and keep it there then you will want to lift heavy ass weights and give your body a reason to grow/keep those muscles. Basically a no brainer but ex*****on can be tough however that is why personal trainers exist. Look around for a suitable trainer and get yourselves started. Time is running while you waiting.
