Snippets of 2026, so far. The year has only just begun, but already it’s a blur of activity. We’re learning to take our time - to listen, to respond, to connect with these children who still have an entire world to discover and learn about. The best and most important thing we can do as educators, is to keep that spark alive in them.
(The last photo - our first time conducting an internal training, outdoors! Seems ironic that we spend most of team times indoors. Here’s to more opportunities to walk the talk and practice what we preach, starting with the most basic thing - touch grass.

Hello, 2026! ☀️
We’re so excited to kick off the year with our weekend classes - new year, same great energy, and now with an additional new location (hello, Punggol!)
Looking for something fun to do with your little ones on Saturday mornings?

Our classes are all about multi-sport fun in the great outdoors, where kids go on grand storytelling adventures with our coaches in parks all over Singapore.
Expect singing, movement, imagination, and lots of laughter as children explore the world of sports, building confidence, coordination, and a love for being active along the way.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or coming back as an old friend, we can’t wait to welcome you and share the magic of movement through music and storytelling.

Did you know that one of the simplest — and most powerful — tools we have as parents is connection? 🩷
It’s something that can feel effortless in the early years (when you’re your child’s favourite person in the world), but it’s also something worth nurturing for the long run — especially when those teenage years roll around and your hugs are met with eye rolls instead of squeals.
Connection doesn’t just feel good (toddlers really do give the best cuddles) — it’s good for them too. It lays the foundation for a lifetime of confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
Children who feel connected are more likely to:
- Regulate their big feelings (yes, even when their biscuit breaks in half)
- Cooperate and listen (on good days)
- Develop empathy and kindness (on most days)
- Try again after setbacks (like rebuilding that magnet tile tower for the 87th time)
And the science agrees — strong early relationships shape brain development, buffer stress, and predict better mental health and learning outcomes all the way into adulthood.
So how do we build this connection?
The good news: it’s in the small, everyday moments — not the grand gestures. What they really want is you — your presence, your attention, and your care.
Swipe right for 5 simple ways to strengthen your connection today — no fancy toys or parenting hacks needed.

If you grew up in Singapore, you have probably heard some - if not all - of these remarks from your parents or teachers. And as a parent, you may have vowed never to do the same to your own kids. But then you’re hit with the worst tantrum, the worst day, the worst combination of both - and you find yourself repeating history with your kids.
It’s hard, yes - but the science is clear.
What children need is our supportive and calm presence, not our inherited traumas and triggers. By validating their emotions, teaching natural consequences, and guiding them through reflective repair, we can help our children build emotional intelligence, resilience, and kindness that last a lifetime.
How we speak to children becomes their inner voice – our words matter.
So how can we do better? And what can we say instead?
Swipe right for some alternatives to commonly uttered phrases, and the reasons why we should try to break the cycle!

I’ve been chewing on something recently.
Something which came up quite by accident, in a number of conversations I’ve had with teachers, principals, parents and kids alike.
It’s something I call the “Tiny Mountains Methodology”, or TMM ( or TiMoMe, which I prefer because it’s much more fun than an initialism).
In my varied conversations, I hear things like
“it’s really wonderful how you guys do it”
“ My teachers are all really impressed”
“I feel like I learn a lot just from watching the class”
“ You are a funny man Teacher Titus”
“Your coaches really know how to keep the kids engaged”
“ It’s a very unique idea”
“ I like Tiny Mountains you know”
( I’ll leave you to guess which are the teachers , principals, parents and kids’ comments.)
And so I came up with a Methodology (my TiMoMe) which made it easy to understand. But if I had to distil it down into one simple thing, it would be this -
From the Children, For the Children.
Tiny Mountains is what it is, because of the children who made it that way. It was their input, their response (or lack of) to different approaches that led to our fine-tuning and testing and trialing until we got something that really clicked with the kids.
And it is for them, that we strive so hard to make sure each coach and each class meets the mark, and leaves them with a distinct impression that it is a great joy to be a child and to do things that children do.

What does it mean to feel safe? 🤔
Safety isn't just about rules and regulations or safety equipment like helmets and knee pads (although these things are pretty important too), it's about creating a space where kids feel like they can be themselves, messes and mess ups and all.
When our little ones feel safe, they're not afraid to fall flat on their face (both metaphorically and physically).
If we have done a good job creating a place where they feel safe enough to make mistakes, they will be able to dust themselves off, maybe even see the humour in the situation, and dive right back in to try again!
So let’s work together to create a world where children feel safe enough to explore, to question and to grow 🌞🌱
