HELLOO! We are back with another SUNDAY slot 😎

🎻 Adult Level 1 Violin Group Class (For Complete Beginners)

Join our 4-week beginner violin programme, thoughtfully designed to build strong technical and musical foundations from the very first lesson.

📅 Dates: 6th Sept to 27th Sept
🕒 Time: Sundays, 3PM-4PM
👥 Small group: 2–3 students only

Personally taught by our Principal Teacher, this course covers:
• Correct posture and violin hold
• Bow hold and bow control
• Left-hand positioning and finger placement
• Basic rhythm and note reading
• Tone production and coordination
• Strong fundamental techniques for confident long-term progression

📚 Our specially written in-house learning materials are provided at no additional cost, so there are no registration or material fees.
🎻 No instrument required

💰 Course Fee: S$260 (4 lessons)
💳 Please note that a 50% deposit is required to secure your slot.

You can’t control how quickly you’ll improve.
You can’t control whether a piece feels difficult.
You can’t control how many mistakes you’ll make along the way.

But you can control your attitude.
You can control how consistently you practise. 🎻

Progress doesn’t come from being perfect, it comes from showing up, practising the difficult bits, and trying again tomorrow.

Focus on what you can control. So be patient & keep going!!

1. Teaches that effort brings progress: students experience how consistent practice leads to real improvement

2. Builds perseverance: because they learn to keep trying even when something feels difficult at first. all those new bowing techniques play a part in such learning!

3. Develops a growth mindset: mistakes become part of learning, not a reason to give up or stop trying

4. Creates strong practice habits: students discover that small, regular efforts can lead to big achievements. There’s no way to improve without hard work!!

5. Builds confidence through achievement: mastering a challenging piece shows students what they can accomplish through hard work!

THE CELLO POSTURE…

Good posture isn’t just about looking neat and nice!! It’s about making playing feel easier, more comfortable, and more efficient.

A few pointers for you:
- arm weight: let the arm’s natural weight work for you
- straight bow: keep that bow travelling straight
- slightly lifted arm: avoid collapsing the arm and shoulder

Small adjustments can make a BIG difference to your sound and comfort!
