Our celebration began with the children learning about the meaning and traditions of Hari Raya Puasa, including the different traditional outfits and the importance of showing respect to one another. They also enjoyed dancing to lively Raya songs, filling the space with festive cheer.

The highlight of the celebration was when our older children hosted the younger ones. They warmly welcomed their friends at the door, invited them to be seated, and thoughtfully served a variety of traditional kueh and snacks, along with drinks. 🍪🥤

It was a meaningful experience that fostered kindness, cultural appreciation, and a wonderful sense of community. 💛

March Holiday Programme: Who Shares Our Planet? 🌍

Through the story Welcome Home Bear, the children experienced an enriching and engaging week of discovery and learning about the world around them.

Our older children collaborated to create vibrant forest dioramas, each showcasing their understanding of ecosystems, while our younger ones explored their creativity through tree crafts.

They also took their learning outdoors, rescuing animals around the playground and guiding ducks safely back to their pond.

We ended the programme on a delightful note with an animal-themed cookery session, where the children created their own bears, rabbits, and owls using bread, fruits, and jam.

A meaningful week of creativity, teamwork, and learning about the importance of sharing our planet. 🐻🌳🌏💛

Our little ones had so much fun celebrating Chinese New Year with festive storytelling to learn about traditions, exciting interactive games filled with laughter, and a hands-on DIY Fruit Lo Hei where everyone tossed together and shouted for good luck! 新年快乐 🧨🍊

✨ Celebrating Deepavali at school! ✨
Our children experienced the joy and meaning of the Festival of Lights through engaging activities like listening to stories about Deepavali, dancing to festive music, and creating colourful rangoli patterns together. 🪔 They also took part in the symbolic passing of light, reminding everyone to share love and kindness. The celebration ended on a delightful note with a food tasting session, where children sampled some festive treats! 🌸🍛
