💦 Our First Swimming Enrichment – Learning Through Play! 💦

We are excited to share highlights from our first swimming enrichment session at Sunflower Preschool @ Chevrons,
conducted in partnership with The Aquatics Swim School 🏊‍♂️✨

This enrichment programme is designed using a play-based approach, where children learn essential water skills through fun, imaginative activities — helping them build confidence, coordination, and enjoyment in the water.

🍕 Pizza Party Theme in the Pool!
Through creative play such as “mixing the flour” and “cutting the ingredients,” children practised:
✔️ Arm pull and push movements
✔️ Strong, steady flutter kicks
✔️ Body coordination and water confidence

The coaches from The Aquatics Swim School guided the children closely, ensuring proper techniques while creating a safe, joyful, and encouraging learning environment. It was heartwarming to see the children engaged, smiling, and growing more confident with each activity 💙

Through this play-based swimming enrichment, children developed physical coordination, social interaction, and self-confidence in a safe and joyful environment.

🌿☕️ Parent Tea Session + Outdoor Learning Workshop @ Sunflower Preschool @ Chevrons🌻

Today, we had a meaningful time connecting with our parents and sharing our curriculum approach, guided by our Vision, Mission and Core Values (LEAP).

🌻 Learning Beyond the Classroom Walls 🌿
At Sunflower Preschool, outdoor learning is part of our daily curriculum because children learn best through real experiences — moving, exploring, wondering, problem-solving and working with friends.

Through our hands-on workshop activities, parents experienced outdoor learning first-hand and saw how it supports children’s holistic development by building:
*Social & emotional competence
*Teamwork and communication
*Curiosity, confidence and resilience
*Values in daily practice

🌻 Building Connections, Celebrating the Joy in Learning! 🌻

At Sunflower Preschool, our recent Parent–Teacher Conference was a heartwarming opportunity for meaningful conversations between parents and educators.
Together, we celebrated every child’s growth — their confidence, curiosity, and joy in learning!

Parents also enjoyed exploring our Children’s Art & Learning Display, filled with vibrant creations that showcase how our little ones learn with enthusiasm, imagination, and pride.

These moments remind us that when children experience joy in learning, they grow into confident, caring, and curious individuals.
