Every year, I organize a student concert or a small music sharing session where students can perform for one another. Using pieces they are familiar with, after each performance, I ask a few questions, let everyone discuss, and help them improve further.

Beyond practice and performance, what I love most is seeing the moment when their hard work is heard. There’s a quiet sense of pride in their eyes, and within them, a budding sense of self worth begins to take root.

This music sharing takes place in my studio.

每年我都一定會辦學生音樂會或者小型的音樂分享會，讓學生們互相表演，並在熟練的曲子上讓大家討論，做提高指導。

除了練習與演奏本身，我很喜歡看到他們努力練習的成果被聆聽、肯定時，眼神裏洋溢著的那份自豪感，心裏的自我價值悄悄萌芽..

這場彈奏分享在我的工作室舉行。

Seeing a student, within just one week, independently play through the Christmas accompaniment that the school had arranged on short notice. Instead of surprise, a deep sense of emotion rose in my heart.

After many years of teaching, I have come to feel more and more that students, parents, and teachers truly achieve one another. Even at such a young age, when a child is willing to listen, understand, try, and then express the music through their own hands, they often become far more capable than they ever imagined.

The strict requirements for basic exercises, meticulous analysis of knowledge, and repeated explanation of technical principles, slowly these all begin to reveal their value along the students’s path of growth. Seeing each student, whether they choose to become amateur or professional in the future, continuously accumulate experience through practice, and knowing that the piano will accompany them throughout their lives, is my greatest encouragement and satisfaction I can have as an educator.

In the end, what a blessing it is for a teacher to meet parents who are being support and place their trust in me. Thank you for choosing me to witness the children’s growth together. ♫

看到學生僅在一週的時間裡，能夠自己把學校臨時安排的聖誕伴奏曲完整彈出來，那一刻，我心裡湧上的不是驚喜，而是一種深深的感動。

教學多年，我愈發感受到學生、家長與老師是相互成就的。當孩子願意專心聆聽、理解、嘗試，再以自己的方式把音樂彈奏出來，小小年紀的他們，其實遠比自己想像的更有能力。

曾經嚴厲的堅守、揉碎了的知識、反覆掰開來講的技巧，慢慢地，在他們的成長軌跡中看見。看著一位位不論未來走向業餘還是專業的學生，在練習鋼琴的磨練中不斷累積，而鋼琴也將陪伴他們一生，便是我做這個教育最大的鼓舞與欣慰。

最後，遇到信賴自己的家長是老師的福氣，謝謝你們願意與我一起見證他們的成長 ♫

掌關節即掌指關節（手指與手掌的交界處），作為整個手部動作的「樞紐」，是彈奏力量的來源也是傳導中心：

- 在理想的彈奏中，力量並非單純由手指產生，而是依序由前臂 → 手腕 → 掌關節 → 指尖傳遞而出。

- 當掌關節有效開合，且穩定、靈活時，力量才能均勻傳達至琴鍵，手感自然、音色飽滿。

你有否察覺到自己彈奏時，正是因為掌關節的僵硬，手指之間會產生「連動」，無法支持手指的獨立性，彈奏快速音群或顫音更是難上加難。

而鋼琴基本功裏最為主要的就是對掌關節的訓練，練習時莫過於要攻克各種運動模式的強度與速度，才能達成、獲得訓練效果。

在車爾尼各練習曲集裏就有大量，有針對性、好聽的作品材料供我們以自身情況選擇，練習使用。

The knuckles—the joints where the fingers meet the hand—serve as the “pivot” of all hand movement. They are both the source and the center of power transmission in piano playing.

• In ideal technique, power does not come only from the fingers. Instead, it is passed sequentially from the forearm → wrist → knuckles → fingertips.
• When the knuckles can open and close freely while staying both stable and flexible, power can be evenly delivered to the keys. This produces a natural touch and a full, resonant tone.

Have you noticed that when your knuckles become stiff, your fingers start to “move together,” losing their independence? This makes fast passages or trills even more difficult.

This is why training the knuckles is one of the most essential foundations of piano technique. Practice must develop different movement patterns at varying strengths and speeds in order to achieve real improvement.
