An unforgettable final Graduation ceremony for IES Skärholmen and the Class of 2025. You have navigated this unusual final year with Grit, Determination and Finesse. You have done us all proud. A huge thanks to our Principals, Dr Benedikz ( 2019-2024) and Dr Heimeier (2024-2025) who this year championed our students to greatness.

What a fantastic way to end the NT season. PIZZA PARTY for 9b the class who rocked their socks the best on Rocka Sockarna day. Thank you Mr Mullarkey our Student Care Manager for organizing the day and the reward for the class. Thank you Dr Heimeier, our Principal for always going the extra mile by allowing the students to enjoy their pizza in the staff room, another delight they will never forget.

March is Awareness Month at IES Skärholmen. We celebrate International Women’s Day, educate our staff and students with a focus on NPF Day and then we Rocka Sockorna to highlight World Down Syndrome Day.

February brings with it some snow, sunshine, Theme Month and spreading the love around the campus. Friday Yr9 will hand out roses and have a bake sale as part of their ongoing fundraising.

Tomorrow, Thursday February 6th, all lessons have been cancelled between 07:30 and 12:00. SPTs will run as Norma from 13:00. Therefore tomorrow will be regarded as a Student Study Day. Please check Schoolsoft and other platforms regarding more information about Friday. Regards Mr Johns

It was great to welcome our Yr9s back and during Assembly today we celebrated their first term’s achievements at our new location in Södermalm. The students received some motivational words from our Assistant Principal, Mr Johns and our Principal Dr Heimeier. Our Head of year9, Ms Obika-Gustavsson ran through some points to ponder at the start of the new term as well as handing out some awards.
