And just like that, the school year has come to an end! 🌞

All of our students have now started their well-deserved summer break, and for the staff at IES Älvsjö, summer officially began after a wonderful end-of-year lunch prepared by Chez Massouh .

A special thank you to our amazing colleagues Mr. Salama, Mr. Sharif, and Mr. Hendi for taking charge of the grill and helping make everything extra special.

We would like to thank our students, staff, and families for a fantastic year together and wish everyone a happy, relaxing, and safe summer holiday!

👩🏾‍🎓 🧑‍🎓 On Friday we had the pleasure of celebrating and saying farewell to our Year 9 students at a beautiful graduation ceremony @ Oscarsteatern.

As you move on to the next chapter, we hope you carry with you the friendships you’ve built, the lessons you’ve learned, and the confidence to embrace new opportunities and challenges ahead.

Our Intro Day for our new year 4 at school was a great success 💙

It was a wonderful day filled with community, laughter, and creativity. We had a flea market, BBQ, and activities where both older students and staff were involved and helping out throughout the day. 🌭 🖼️ 🎨

Visitors also had the chance to explore an art exhibition featuring the Grade 9 students’ final projects. Their work, creativity, and dedication were truly impressive.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day so special😍

This Friday, we’re wearing our sportswear to support children affected by cancer 💛⚽

At Internationella Engelska Skolan Älvsjö, we’re joining Football Shirt Friday to raise money for Barncancerfonden. Wear your favorite team jersey, sportswear, or anything sporty and help us show support for children and families fighting childhood cancer.

Last week, we crowned three winners in our school Art Contest 🎨
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and shared their amazing artwork, and an extra special shoutout to our student “A” in Year 6, who came up with, planned, and organized the entire contest.

We love seeing students take initiative and bring creative ideas to life that make our school even brighter! ⭐️

The Loppis Will be held on the 15th of May!

We had a fantastic end to the week before the Easter break!
Our talented and hardworking choir singers were a big part of the IES Choir Festival. They showed impressive skills during the vocal workshop, pair rehearsals, and the dress rehearsal, and they truly shone during the concert performance. We were so happy to see their confidence and musicality on stage – their singing performances were outstanding.

We would like to thank all parents for your wonderful support and our students for their hard work and dedication. It was truly an unforgettable day!
