Here's are 2 quotes from last year's participants:
'it was a great learning experience, a very well-curated course, with perfectly selected teachers. The place was a great paradise and couldn't be better to learn biomimicry.'
'There are some important things that are invisible, and because of that, we ignore them. This bootcamp unlocked that parts and help me clearly see other important things like other species, the intelligence of nature, the importance of living in the moment and so on. The best part is to be able to connect with local people, animals, plants, and other intelligent human beings.'

Biomimicry is the practice of learning from and emulating nature to solve human problems and create sustainable designs. Denmark has been a leader in sustainability and environmental innovation, and biomimicry is no exception. Here are some examples of biomimicry in Denmark:
The Kingfisher-inspired bullet train: In 2015, the Japanese train company Shinkansen partnered with the Danish design firm EFFEKT to create a new bullet train inspired by the kingfisher bird. The train's nose was redesigned to be more aerodynamic, reducing the noise and energy consumption.
The Biomimicry Europa Tower: A proposed office building in Copenhagen, the Biomimicry Europa Tower is designed to mimic the shapes and functions of natural ecosystems. The tower will feature a vertical garden facade, rainwater harvesting, and a solar chimney that harnesses the natural airflow to ventilate the building.
The Bionic Partition: Developed by the Danish company GXN Innovation, the Bionic Partition is a modular wall system that mimics the cellular structure of coral reefs. The design creates a lightweight, strong, and flexible structure that can be adapted to different spaces and uses.
The Blue Planet Aquarium: The Blue Planet Aquarium in Copenhagen was designed to mimic the flow and energy of ocean currents. The building's spiraling design creates a natural flow of visitors, while the curved facade and rooftop solar panels mimic the shape and function of ocean waves.
Overall, Denmark is at the forefront of biomimicry and is continuing to explore ways to integrate nature-inspired designs into sustainable solutions.
