What are you teaching today?
Grade 0 is playing the claves and sings “snowman Joe” from ! I printed out the lyrics cards to help us follow the melody.

Today grade 1 had their first music story lesson with “Peter and the wolf”.

We started by exploring each character. We then got to choose different class instruments for each character, different of course than the ones originally used!
Later they listened to me reading the story while the music was playing.

Next time we will get to meet each instrument/ character individually and we can even retell the story using the classroom instruments we chose for each character.

Today grade 2 had a reflection on their first school concert as musicians.
So nice to hear and see all these nice memories they built on their first time playing the recorders!
