Long time no sea!

Guess what? Calenture: Survival and deception on the open sea is finally released! It's available for on-demand printing over at Gamecrafter: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/calenture:-survival-and-deception-on-the-open-sea

NOTE - For people living in the Nordics: The cost for delivery, customs, etc. are pretty high when ordering from Gamecrafter. So unless you're dying to play the game (which we truly understand), we'd suggest holding off for now, since we're looking at getting it printed here in Sweden later this year.

Hallå, det var ett tag sedan!

Calenture: Survival and deception on the open sea är nu speltestat och klart att skicka till tryckeriet, så vi håller på att samla in mail till intresserade individer för att kunna estimera vilka kvantiteter som ska tryckas upp.

- Har du spelat Calenture tyckte att det var skojsigt?
- Är du intresserad av social deduction-genren?
- Eller är du helt enkelt intresserad av att stötta svenska indie-brädspel?

Då företaget Fishmoose Interactive inte existerar längre så kommer alla utlägg direkt ur våra privata fickor, följaktligen kommer vi inte att kunna trycka upp fler exemplar än de som beställs på förhand!

Vi säger inte att detta är enda gången som spelet trycks upp, men det är omöjligt att säga när nästa uppryckning potentiellt blir av.

So, I think that our inactivity here has been indication enough, but it's time to make it official: Fishmoose Interactive is shutting down.

We invested a lot of time and resources into making the release of Cosmic Kites as good as it could possible be, but it just didn't take off. This can probably be attributed to our inexperience, lack of community-building or simply the rapid changes of the industry. But it left us in a weird place, and we've been struggling to maintain momentum ever since. And over the last couple of months we've all but ceased operations and started heading in our own individual directions.

Calenture: The Card Game will most likely see a physical released later this year - but we're not making any promises. Aside from that, this is probably to consider the end of the road after 6-ish years; first as a group of friends making games during our time at uni, and later as a company.

There are plenty of half-finished games that we'd love to release somehow, and some additional work might still be made in the future.

Cosmic Kites will remain for sale for another couple of weeks on Steam, but will then be taken down. The game will remain available via GameJolt for those potentially interested in the future!

So, what's happening now?
Alex is trying his hands at marketing, and Tobias is studying and working as a brewer.

Lastly, we'd like to sincerely thank everyone that has tagged along over the years; tried our games, met us at conventions, etc.

Efter många timmars pyssel har vi nu lyckats knåpa ihop en fysisk version av Calenture: The Card Game!

Som om det inte var nog kommer vi att befinna oss på Creative Coast Festival #4 18-19/5 - Karlshamn under dagen, så om du befinner dig i krokarna tycker vi bestämt att du ska titta förbi och provspela några rundor!

Evenemanget är gratis, och det är bara till att leta efter den fula fisk-älgen inne på mässan så hittar ni oss!

Ahoy there peeps! We're not dead yet, we promise! We've merely been taking a small hiatus to focus on other things in life.

We have some good news to through into the aether:
Calenture will be shown to the public for the first time at Creative Coast Festival #4 18-19/5 - Karlshamn! It's a free, super-cozy two-day event with tons of awesome, locally grown games, along with lectures from industry professionals!

But what is Calenture? Can you eat it, and more importantly; does it go well with beer? Well, long story short:

“Calenture is a game about social power struggles on a life raft. The public goal is for everybody to survive any dangers the sea is throwing your way, but each player have a hidden agenda that may be more sinister and counter productive. Players have to cooperate to survive, all while trying to root out the players who are working against the best interest of the group, and throw them overboard.”

Once again, another digital rendition of the game!
We will bring a physical version to CCF, so don't you worry!

Merry Christmas everybody! Today we launched a smaller update for Cosmic Kites, it was intended to be bigger but Christmas celebrations and bad planning caught us off guard.

This one includes 4 new characters, the last winners of the drawing competition in Poznan, Poland and a polar bear with a special snowflake tail.
