EDIT: Ok, so now that it's almost midnight here in Sweden and i have to go to bed, it's time to let this little April Fools joke of mine come to an end.
On the other hand, though, if someone out there actually builds a real Rotorimba, PLEASE send me a picture of it. I'll even give you a good deal on the royalties for it... 😉

Hi everyone!
Today I can finally reveal the big, secret project that I have been working on for some time: the Rotorimba!
This is an instrument that is designed to handle the rapid instrument changes in many orchestral parts. With a simple movement of the lever, you can quickly rotate to the next mallet instrument and it includes both a vibraphone, glockenspiel, xylophone, crotales and a small marimba.
There is also an XL variant where I have mounted a set of chimes horizontally via a groundbreaking design that would allow them to be played from the side of the instrument without negatively affecting their ability to resonate freely.
After intensive negotiation work, I have now signed an agreement with Adams Musical Instruments and the instrument will begin mass production shortly. Until then, I will be commuting weekly for a year from Gothenburg, Sweden to the Netherlands where I will work as a consultant in the manufacturing process.

PS. A few of you have emailed me about if there will be a touring version of the instrument available and the answer is yes - it comes with a special flightcase with an attached connection so that it can be pulled as a trailer by your car! DS.
