What an amazing experience for the students of Westminster School!
They had a fantastic educational visit to National (Alwataneya) University, getting a glimpse into higher education facilities in Medicine, Engineering, and Science.
The students, ranging from Grades 5 to 9, were warmly welcomed by Dr. Nima and got an introduction to the university's academic environment, including policies, systems, and a tour of the library.
They then dived into various departmental tours and practical demonstrations, including:
- *Faculty of Dentistry*: Observing dental clinics, learning about equipment and procedures, and a lecture on dental anatomy and oral hygiene by Dr. Ali.
- *Department of Physics*: A session on electricity and electrical components, with hands-on measurement practice.
- *Faculty of Engineering & Architecture*: Viewing professional architectural drawings and engineering drafts.
- *Medical Sciences*: Exploring diagnostic labs and the Medicine Museum.
The trip was a huge success, thanks to the valuable mentorship from university faculty, including Dr. Nima, Dr. Ali, and Dr. Abdualrahman. The mix of theory and practical exposure gave the students a well-rounded educational experience.

Children love plants. 🌿
They find them fascinating.
Children learn a lot from nature, to teach them more about the wonders of nature Westminster Grade 1,2,3 students went to visit the plant nursery.
They saw plants of different sizes , shapes, colors, texture and scents. 🌲 They were given information from the parts of a plant to seed cycle, water transportation , photosynthesis and producing oxygen we breathe was outlined by our science teachers.
Our children also learnt why plant nursery is important for farming and were shown saplings of various shrubs, flowers, vegetables and trees which are later sold. 🌷
The children had an interesting experience and also bought some saplings to grow in their school garden .
Get kids involved in nature from the comfort of the graden by growing easy flowers vegetables and fruits .Grow together , have fun together and watch the children BLOOM.🌿
