تعد ستارت اب ويكند فعالية عالمية تضم رواد أعمال نشطين و متمكنين حيث يتعلمون أساسيات بدء المشاريع الناشئة وإطلاق المشاريع الناجحة. وكما تعتبر ستارت أب ويكند أكبر مجموعة تضم رواد الأعمال الطموحين حيث عقدت أكثر من 400 فعالية في 100 دولة في جميع أنحاء العالم في عام 2011.

ويقع المقر الرئيسي للمنظمة الغير الربحية في سياتل – واشنطن, ولكن يتواجد منظمي ستارت أب ويكند في أكثر من 200 مدينة حول العالم. ويجتم

ع الأشخاص من منغوليا إلى جنوب أفريقيا و لندن والبرازيل في جميع أنحاء العالم لحضور ورش عمل نهاية الأسبوع لطرح الأفكار وإنشاء المجموعات وبدء انشاء الشركات.

وتتبع جميع فعاليات ستارت اب ويكند نفس النموذج الأساسي : حيث يرحب بأي شخص لطرح فكرته بشكل مبدئي وتلقي الملاحظات من المشاركين. وتتشكل الفرق بناء على الأفكار الأفضل (كما هو محدد عن طريق تصويت الحضور) وبعدها يكون هناك 54 ساعة لإنشاء نموذج العمل، والبرمجة، والتصميم، والتحقق من امكانية تسويق الفكرة. وبعد ذلك يقدم المشاركون عروضهم أمام رؤساء ريادة المشاريع المحليين للحصول على فرصة اخرى لتلقي الآراء والملاحظات

What is Start-up Weekend? Startup Weekend is an intense 54-hour event, which focuses on building a web or mobile application, which could form the basis of a credible business over the course of a weekend. The weekend brings together people with different skill sets - primarily software developers, graphics designers and business people - to build applications and develop a commercial case around them. Who should attend? Startup Weekends are 54-hour events where developers, designers, marketers, product managers and startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch startups! Startup Weekends are weekend-long, hands-on experiences where entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can find out if startup ideas are viable. On average, half of Startup Weekend’s attendees have technical backgrounds, the other half have business backgrounds. How does it work? Beginning with open mic pitches on Thursday, attendees are encouraged to bring their best ideas and inspire others to join their team. Over Friday and Saturday teams design and develop business plans while constantly streamlining their startup vision. On Saturday evening teams demo their prototypes, listen to judges’ feedback and in some cities, win prizes. Startup Weekends are specifically designed for entrepreneurs interested in receiving feedback on an idea, looking for a co-founder, or who want to learn a new skill. We also welcome anyone looking to test the entrepreneurial waters. زي ما قلنا حنشرح ليكم كل جزئية وكيف ممكن تستفيدو منها لمن تقدموا في مسابقة GITR اول جزئية حنبدا بيها واهم جزئية هي مخيم التدريب الذي سيستغرق ٣٦ ساعة مقسمة إلى عشرة اجزاء مهمة :
حيث سيهئ المشارك للمسابقة من كل الجهات بدأ من كيفية البدء في المشروع من فكرة إلى المشروع كمرحلة نهائية
و ثانيًا -كيفية تكوين وتقسيم الأرباح ما بين المشاركين في المشروع
ثالثا -شرح مفصل لنموذج العمل لكي يستطيع المشارك فهم طريقة سير العمل وتفاصيله
رابعًا -كيفية تصميم القيمة المقدمة لجذب الجمهور المستهدف
خامسا -التعريف بمفهوم الMVP لبناء منتج بأسلوب يسمح للصاحب المشروع بفهم متطلبات السوق .
سادسا -كيفية التسويق لعملك
وثم سابعا -مؤشرات الاداء الأساسية والمالية
ثامنًا -شرح مفصل للايكسل لانه مهم للتعامل مع اساسيات العمل
و تاسعًا -طرق وفرص الاستثمار للشركة الناشئة
وأخيرا طريقة عرض الفكرة للحكام والمستثمرين
