We had been off activity for about a year. For unknown reason, the page had disappeared from Facebook for long and I was unable to get it back.
Thanks God I successfully managed to restore it today.

▶️ A noun phrase is a phrase that contains a noun that functions as the head of the phrase along with determiners or modifiers [i.e. the determiners and modifiers modify the noun]. The modifier can come BEFORE or AFTER the noun.
- And modifiers that come before a noun are called , whereas modifiers that come after a noun are called
💥 Modifiers that come BEFORE the noun can be: 👉 articles, possessive nouns, possessive pronouns, adjectives, participles, numerals, quantifiers, or demonstrative determiners.

💥 And modifiers that come AFTER the noun can be: 👉 prepositional phrase, adjective clause, participle phrase, or infinitive.

🌹 From the note above, it is clear that modifiers are of different types according to their function in modifying the noun to form a noun phrase.
Here, a is just a word [or words] that describes the noun.

▶️A phrase is a group of words standing together as a single grammatical unit, typically as a part of [or forming a component of] a clause or a sentence. A phrase doesn't contain a subject and verb.
▶️ Based on the types of words that begin or govern the word group, phrases are in general of 8 types [or more]:
1- noun
2- verb
3- prepositional
4- infinitive
5- participle
6- gerund
7- absolute
8- adjective
9- adverb
10- appositive
