The integration of engineering societies at Sudan University of Science and Technology is an initiative whose first activities were launched on the fourth of March 2020 to celebrate the World Engineering day in Sudan. This integration came as a good initiative from Dr. Taqwa Ahmed Musa, doctor in petroleum engineering department at Sudan University, in which she sought to bring together and consolidate the engineering and scientific societies at Sudan University of Science and Technology. The integration aims to enhance the role of engineering in society by achieving and spreading awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and linking all engineering disciplines to achieve this goal.

تكامل الجمعيات الهندسية بجامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجيا هي مبادرة كان إنطلاق أولى فعالياتها في الرابع من مارس 2020 إحتفالاً باليوم العالمي للهندسة كأول فعالية للاحتفال بهذا اليوم في السودان شملت الفعالية على معارض علمية وسمنارات ومسابقة مشاريع علمية واستمرت هذه الفعالية احتفالاً بيوم الهندسة العالمي لهذا العام2021.
وقد جاء هذا التكامل كمبادرة طيبة من الدكتورة تقوى أحمد موسى، دكتور بهندسة النفط جامعة السودان، وسعت فيه لجمع وتضامن الجمعيات الهندسية والعلمية بجامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجيا.
ويهدف التكامل لتعزيز دور الهندسة في المجتمع بتحقيق ونشر وعي أهداف التنمية المستدامة SDGs والربط بين كافة التخصصات الهندسية لتحقيق هذا الهدف.

بعد إعلان منظمة اليونسكو في مؤتمرها الأربعين أن الرابع من مارس كل عام سيكون يوماً عالمياً للهندسة لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، والذي يأتي بدوره لإقرار أهمية الهندسة ودورها ودور المهندسين في جعل العالم مكاناً أفضل بتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، كان الرابع من مارس 2020 هو النسخة الأولى لليوم العالمي للهندسة.

يأتي اليوم العالمي للهندسة لهذا العام (WED 2021) في نسخة جديدة تحت شعار "الهندسة من أجل كوكبٍ صحي" متضمناً العديد من السمنارات والمشاريع التي سيتم استعراضها على مدار اليوم على برنامج Zoom وسيتم كذلك بثّ جميع المحاضرات والسمنارات مباشرة على الصفحة الرسمية الخاصة بجامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجياWorld Engineering Day - SUST بموقعي فيسبوك ويوتيوب..

After the announcement by UNESCO in its 40th annual conference that March 4th of every year will be a World Engineering Day, which comes to admit the importance of engineering and its role and the role of engineers in making the world a better place by achieving the sustainable development goals, 4th March 2020 was the first edition of The World Engineering Day 🌻💛🔥

This years' World Engineering Day (WED2021), under the theme "engineering for a healthy planet" will include a lot of seminars and projects that will be live-streamed day long on Zoom, all lectures and seminars will also be broadcasted on the official page of the event on Facebook and Youtube.
