إلهام علي مؤسسه Zahara For Education طالبة ماجستير في برنامج التكنولوجيا والسياسة في معهد ماساتشوستس للتكنولوجيا ومساعد باحث متخرج في مجموعة Space Enabled Group في MIT Media Lab. وهي متخصصة في استخدام بيانات مراقبة الأرض عبر الأقمار الصناعية لتعزيز التنمية المستدامة في المجتمعات. إلهام سودانية عن طريق ألاباما وتتمتع برد الجميل لمجتمعاتها. هي مؤسسة زهرة ، المؤسس المشارك لمهرجان موسيقى السلام السوداني ، وقد قامت بعمل استشاري مع 249 شركة ناشئة في الخرطوم. في العام الماضي ، عملت إلهام في شركة IBM كأخصائي تقني للعملاء وتدربت في إدارة الأشغال العامة في سان فرانسيسكو. حصلت على شهادة البكالوريوس. (مع مرتبة الشرف) في الهندسة البيئية في جامعة ألاباما مع القصر في السياسة العامة وعلوم الكمبيوتر. إلهام شغوفة بالفنون وتستمتع بالرسم ولعب الجيتار.♥️

To Follow the Journey, Start from the Beginning
Our Story: ‘Zahara’ is the Arabic word for flower and a common name among older women. Zahara for Education stands for planting the seeds for a generation of learners to bloom to their fullest potential and flower. The organization is named after the founder’s grandmothers, who share the same name. Our logo is also a drawing of the hibiscus flower, the national flower of Sudan. It is a symbol of new knowledge, as well as of wisdom that has been passed down before by generations.
For 27 Years
Why Now? For 27 years, Sudan has experienced a period of extended isolation from the international community, including in education. Now, the time has come to open doors of opportunity and rebuild connection with a vibrant community of learners in Sudan. ZAHARA was founded in the summer of 2020 and has been working to improve education ever since.

Mission:
Zahara’s mission is to expand educational opportunities between Sudan and the United States. We build unique educational programs for youth and provide valuable skills training in diverse fields from STEM to Arts to Professional Development.
We also create numerous partnerships between organizations in the regions and open students and educators to new opportunities for quality learning experiences.

المهمة:
مهمة زهراء هي توسعة فرص التعليم بين الولايات المتحدة و السودان. نحن في زهراء نبني برامج تعليمية فريدة للشباب و نوفر فرص تدريب لمهارات قيمة جدا في مجالات متعددة ابتداءً ومن مجالات( العلوم و التكنولوجيا و الهندسة و الرياضيات), مروراً بالفنون و التطوير المهني.
نحن ايضا خلقنا شراكات عديدة بين المنظمات في الأقاليم و اتحنا فرص جديدة للطلاب و المتعلمين و تم فتح فرص لتجارب تعليمية ذات جودة عالية.
