Researchers from the Department of Environment and the Island Biodiversity and Conservation centre at the University of Seychelles are conducting a collaborative study with the Island Conservation Society to investigate the feeding locations of white-tailed tropicbirds nesting on Aride Island.

The project also includes hands-on training in seabird handling, ringing, and measurements for island staff, reinforcing our commitment to building capacity in scientific research. This collaboration demonstrates how research partnerships can generate new scientific knowledge while supporting the next generation of conservation scientists.
