Congratulations Edwin!!! Very proud of you brother!!
CONGRATULATIONS EDWIN PITAKOMOKI
The South Choiseul Constituency Office congratulates Mr. Edwin Pitakomoki on being recognised by UnitingCare and ARRCS β Australian Regional and Remote Community Services for his dedication, service, professionalism and commitment in his work.
This recognition is not only a personal achievement for Edwin and his family, but also a proud moment for South Choiseul Constituency. It is a testimony that when our students are given the opportunity and they apply themselves with determination, discipline and faith, they can go on to make a meaningful difference wherever they serve.
Edwin was the first student supported by SCC through the SCC School Fee Support Program at Equinox College β Honiara in 2024. From the beginning, he showed strong determination and a clear conviction that he wanted to succeed. Today, his recognition by ARRCS reflects the value of hard work, humility and commitment to caring for others, especially in the important field of aged care and disability support.
SCC Office is proud to see one of our supported students using his training and skills to serve with compassion and professionalism. Such achievements encourage us to continue supporting our students in tertiary, TVET, RTC, seminary and school-based foundation programs.
For students studying at Equinox College β Honiara under the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), SCCβs current support arrangement is that once students have completed payment of their 50% share of fees, SCC will support the remaining 50%, subject to the School Fee Support Program requirements.
Congratulations once again, Edwin. Your story is an encouragement to many young people in South Choiseul: believe in your journey, remain committed, and continue making a difference.

Happy Monday!!
Pictured below are Leana and Elisha, who completed their Certificate III in Individual Support with Equinox College in the Solomon Islands and are now working in Australia, already building meaningful connections and supporting people in our communities.
We provide more than training, itβs about changing lives and seeing our graduates step into meaningful work with confidence.
We recently received feedback from Carers NT that βparticipants are already warming to them. Doing well.β
Leana and Elisha, keep up the great work!
And to any other employers if you are looking for job ready, genuinely caring support workers, we have more incredible graduates ready to go.
